A very spacious double bedroom with private en-suite with shower and WC. We also have a slightly smaller double bedroom again en-suite available at extra cost. Please ask. The barn conversion is surrounded by open fields with stunning views and enjoys quick access to Leeds city centre, York and Harrogate. The Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire moors and East Coast resorts are very accessible. Ideal for visiting Bramham horse trials, The Great Yorkshire Show and Leeds First Direct Arena events.
We live in a very typical stone barn conversion (built approximately 1830)which was completely renovated some 10 years ago to provide stunning accommodation with oak beams, Yorkshire stone flagged floor throughout and a wood burner making it very cosy in the winter. We are very lucky to have a very spacious kitchen that guests are more than welcome to use all the facilities. Our sunroom overlooks our 4 acre field that our horses graze in and is ideal to relax in after a hard day working or an exhausting day touring or shopping! There are lovely walks down a quite country lane next to the barn leading to the local cricket pitch.
Guest are free to use all the barn including the garden which extends to 3/4 acres. There is also a gas bbq and garden furniture to enjoy a steak on a summer evening!
Interaction with guests
We enjoy meeting and chatting to our guests however we also appreciate that they may want their own privacy. This can easily be achieved as we have a sunroom with plenty of seating and television. We also have a separate sitting room also with a television.
- Shoes to be left downstairs
I am recruitment specialist purely for the new homes sales industry. I have been previously a Sales Director for a major house builder and my passion has always been property. I converted my barn with everything traditional in mind down to the Yorkshire stone floor down stairs to the solid oak doors and beams. I love the countryside and have 4 acres of grassland behind the Barn with my daughters 2 horses grazing. I love meeting people and I have a holiday home which I Iet out in Leyburn in Wensleydale.
