Chumpol's place is in a quiet, residential neighbourhood and whilst it is about a 40 minute walk from the old town, it is super easy to reach everything by motorbike (which Chumpol's brother kindly lent us). We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and being able to use the kitchen. No one else was staying whilst we were there so it felt like our own private home! The neighbours are lovely too

Chumpol's place in Chiang Mai was fantastic. Rooms are very cozy and the bed was softest we found in Thailand. The art in the guesthouse gives off a great find. It's a good place to explore the more local scene in Chiang Mai, and it's a short walk to all the action.

Nice terrasse and neighborhood ok. Hot water and fridge are available. Rather for backpackers who do not need much.

Chumpol was an absolutely excellent host - he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable, invited us to outings and local events, even went as far to take us on a day trip! Staying at Chumpol's is like staying at a friends house. The location is easy walking into town, quiet and charming, - you wake up to birds chirping. There is a cafe where you can have breakfast in the morning and drinks in the evening.

Gorgeous artist's home. Chumpol is a great host, very warm and welcoming. Good English. It's a ten minute walk to the river, so a bit further out of town. Means you wake up to crisp, clean air and birds chirping, not traffic noise and city fumes. Calming and quiet refuge to return to at night for good sleep. By far my favourite place to stay in Chang Mai.
