The Steading is a beautiful two-bedroom cottage with a sitting room/fully equipped kitchen log stove, in a tranquil setting surrounded by beautiful countryside, a short drive from Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas.
Fully equipped with linen, crockery, cutlery, and a washer/dryer/dishwasher. Two wet rooms/bathrooms, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds.
We welcome 1-2well-behaved dogs, but they must be on a lead whenever outside.

The space
The Steading is in a stunning rural setting. The Solway coast is just a few miles away, and the nearby towns of Kirkcudbright and Castle Douglas offer a full range of shops. Whether you enjoy peaceful rural walks, a cosy evening by a log stove, or trips to see the local attractions, it's the perfect location for a short break or a holiday.

Other things to note
If weather conditions allow, we can offer astronomy sessions that take advantage of the beautiful dark skies and the opportunity to take astrophotographs.

We also have an owl box, and there may be the opportunity to observe any residents.
