This basement apartment was amazing. Location. The location to Grove St PATH is ideal - 1 short block away. Only 2 short stops to the World Trade Center station. Or The neighbour is very friendly and very quiet at night. Even with a craft ale pub across the road there is little to no noise at night. The neighbour hood is also very pretty. Right around the corner from the city hall which is a lovely building. Places to eat There are plenty of places to eat within a 10 min walk radius of all budgets. So many that you will never manage to eat at all of them. Great coffee just around the corner (Lackawanna)! The property. Was dreamy! High quality bath towels and bed sheets/bedding. The kitchen was fully functional, it had everything you could need and plenty of it. To get going. A nice large fridge and freezer for those who need to cook. The two way bathroom is great as it allows both parties to access the bathroom without disturbing the other person. There is a comfortable couch and nice living area to chill out in. Wifi worked well as did TV. The shower had great water pressure. Interaction We made contact with Lauren a couple of times via txt and the response was instant. Excellent communication. I would not hesitate to stay at this airbnb again or recommended to anyone interested.

We booked in as a family of 4 and Lauren's place was perfect for us. The neighbourhood felt very safe and the proximity to the PATH was excellent - Lower Manhattan or Midtown in such easy reach. Liberty State Park is also close by and there are lots of shops and restaurants within easy striking distance. The apartment itself had everything that you would need for a short or longer stay. Prior to arrival, Lauren sent us an electronic information pack that included everything that we needed to know. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, we were able to get into NY, subway a 3 min walk. Great restaurants around. There is even a Starbucks 3min walk. The apartment was clean, Lauren had toiletries if needed. Beds could have been a little more comfortable. Very quiet. Would stay again.

We flew into Newark and took a $32 Uber ride to the place. Conveniently located near the Grove Street where there are plenty of neighborhood restaurants and markets. There is a Walgreens, McDonalds & Dunkin' Donuts within a block as well. You have easy access to a laundry mate, quite neighborhood craft beer bar and a Dominica Republic restaurant which we are at twice (great food). Gaining access to the 2 bedroom and 1 bath was easy with the keyless entry lock. 4 of us stayed for 4 nights. We were gone most of the day and only used the place at night. Cable TV was provided. Wireless internet worked good in the living room. Signal was a little weak in the other bedroom. If you sleep with "white noise" in the background, this place is quite. There is no A/C control within the apartment itself. You have to advise the host and they will adjust it for you. It's kept around 70, so comfortable enough. The beds and pillows are soft so if you like them firm this maybe an issue. One party ended up sleeping on the couch instead and said it comfortable. PATH train into downtown NYC World Trade Center stop is an easy short block walk. It's about a 5 minute trip. You could be in downtown NYC within 10 minutes if you catch the train just right. Waiting for the train could add another 10 minutes. Lauren and Kyle were responsive and a great host. Good communications. Welling to help and assist with any needs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for 9 nights with our 2 small children and it was like a home away from home for us! So close to the PATH station (Grove St) literally a 2min walk, then just 10mins into NYC. Loads of places to eat nearby, lovely cafe down the road (Beechwood Cafe) and small fruit and veg grocery store and a Duane Reade 24 hr store and pharmacy is all within 2 mins walk away. Laundromat directly across the road was also very handy! Lauren was a great host, always quick to reply and very un-obtrusive but always available to help if needed which was perfect for us. All the little details in the house like containers to pack snacks for day trips, basic pantry things like herbs and salt and pepper, plenty of towels is all provided and was very much appreciated especially when travelling with young children! Fantastic park with beach and water splash pad for kids in Newport Green which is just 1 stop away on the PATH (Newport) also big shopping mall here. Also lovely local park just a 5min walk away (Van Vorst Park). We would definitely recommend this house for friends and family in the future!

Very clean, well equippezd and stocked with everything you need, super close to the path train station and get you into NYC in 10 minutes! Lauren and Kyle were very quick in answering our questions and very considerate to turn on the ac before we arrived. Also allow us to leave our luggages at the apartment after chevk-out. Originally from Houston, TX. I love to read, travel (Italy is my favorite destination) and eat Tex-Mex food! I also love a good bottle of wine and a nice fire on cold Northeastern nights.
