This One Bedroom Suite has some upscale modern touches on a building that has tons of old world character from the early 1900's. It is close to the city center, several beautiful parks, downtown art and culture, great views, and the airport. We are just a 5 minute walk to the bay and all the beautiful parks. This apartment is great for couples, small families, business travelers, and some pets.

The space

This is a charming apartment building located in Historic Old Northeast / Downtown St. Petersburg, FL. This unique apartment is on the ground floor and offers a patio and two separate entrances. One entrance on the front opens to the patio facing 13th Ave. NE, which is a nice view for a cup of coffee or an evening dinner. The apartment comfortably sleeps two in the queen bed but a third person is allowed if they are comfortable on the sofa or we can provide a comfortable inflatable bed at no extra charge.

The unit is on the first floor and offers a full patio, one bedroom, a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove top, microwave, coffee maker, complimentary coffee, and cooking utensils. This unit is a shower only unit (not bathtub is available) but does offer a renovated bathroom. The sun room/sitting room is great for breakfast or coffee as well as working on the desk. The bedroom has a pillow top bed and upgraded linens with leather sofa and 42' flat screen TV with smart DVD player for watching Netflix and your favorite shows in HD. There are two closets and a separate full wardrobe for storage. Whether it be for a two night stay or a two month stay, we have your needs covered with this nicely appointed one bedroom in Old Northeast.

Guest access

Guest's have access through either the front or rear apartment entrance. The front entrance is located off 13th Ave. NE and the back entrance is located adjacent to Locust Dr. Both entrances require key access. Inside the building, guests will have access to the laundry facility on the ground floor. The coin operated washer and dryer are available 24 hours - $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry per load.

Interaction with guests

As much or as little as you like. I'm available to help out with any suggestions, recommendations or if you just need help with your luggage.

Other things to note

This one bedroom suite apartment is located in one of the area's oldest and most vintage apartment buildings. Some of the apartment features are vintage and have an old school charm. The building is pet friendly as is the apartment unit, however, it is thoroughly cleaned between each guest as are linens and towels :) You will have 24 hour access and the building interior is secured.

I was in town for business and this was the perfect place to stay! Very close to local restaurants and shops, and in a safe neighborhood with free parking nearby. Matt responded quickly and was very easy to work with. Hope to be back soon!

Perfect little 1 bedroom with small Kitchen. I left my window open in car cause I was so tired when I arrived. I also left wallet in there with over two grand cash. I have been to St. Petersburg before and when I woke I thought for sure my stuff was a goner. But everything safe and sound. Good area. We ran in am. Close to downtown and running trails

Matt's place is really cute. There are thoughtful touches all over like the patio with pillows on the chairs and the cute seating area near the front door. His place is in a really great neighborhood and I wish we had planned more time to hang out. The kitchen was just perfect for our needs and I really can't find any fault with this rental. When I was leaving I wished that we had a place like this in such a historic and fun area. We would definitely rent again if our travels take us to St Petersburg.

Matt was great at communicating quickly and we were able to extend our stay at the last minute with no problem. Great location and comfortable home away from home.

Matt's place is AMAZING! Fantastic location and right by the water! Unfortunately for us that wasn't the most idea as Hurricane Irma approached, but when we decided to evacuate the area Matt was so wonderful about making sure we were able to change our reservation without penalty. He opened his home to us as we evacuated South Florida in wake of Irma, and we can't thank him enough! The apartment is so quaint, clean, and absolutely lovely. The area is so adorable and consists of incredible colonial and plantation style homes. It was a real treat staying in this historic neighborhood! You are missing out if you don't consider his property for your vacation or stay!

Hello, I'm Matt. Thank you for viewing our listings and my profile. All of our units are private and you have access to the entire apartment - so consider it as your own personal space if you book with us!

I'm an Oklahoma native who was born and raised in Broken Arrow, OK. I attended college at UGA and GA State, where I pursued a career in hospitality. I have 13 years of hotel experience, but I now enjoy life in the apartment business. We have several apartment units in downtown, uptown, and old northeast areas of St. Petersburg. I enjoy business life and love dealing with people and making them feel at home. I also enjoy outside activities with the family. I am optimistic and helpful and I love meeting and exceeding guest expectations. I look forward to having you as our guest. Thanks again, and look forward to your stay! Matt
