Reduction makes us happy.
This are not empty word shells, it is the way of living we practiced many years on the ocean in our sailboat berths and the idea whose time has come finally reached maturity to a new vision. We want to share it in a world of "too much", wasting and restlessness.
Happiness is in the smallest cabin, sometimes more than in big villas, because luck is more „being“ than owning something. This house got 13 five star reviews during listing here by previous owner.

The space

Tiny houses aren’t just for hipsters and millennials anymore. As Americans and Canadians have taken an interest in tidying up, downsizing their belongings and living more efficiently, the tiny house movement has gone mainstream, and it’s inspiring people of all ages to embrace small spaces.
The idea to live in a cute tiny house in the middle of nowhere in a paradise is even more: it is the way of living, to be free and independent, gifted by mother nature with all the basics you need for happiness: solar power, water and warmth. A so called tiny house is built like a solid and good insulated big house, but it needs only a small portion of energy of a big house due to high tech appliances and small rooms.
Nothing wasted, even the compost of the toilet can be used for gardening. The tiny house was built on a trailer because it is movable to any place, either following your work jobs or to a beautiful offgrid haevaen for vacations. The Tiny Heaven is placed on one of the most magical places we found in 16 years traveling across the world with our boat. It sits on 3 acres lovely apple treed green gras land , surrounded by mountains and fountains in your back, feeding the creek, and ocean view facing NE, where a brook ends up as a waterfall on the private sandy beach. This is the perfect shower after swimming in the ocean. It is really a heaven with unspoiled quietness that helps you to experience life with new eyes and to feel the energy for new ideas: back to the roots.
It is everything in place you need: a fountain giving you clear mountain water or a shower inside the house in an original stylish wine barrel. There is a propane stove and a nice queen sized bed on the loft with 4 windows and mosquito screens and a nice sofa sleeps another person downstairs by the huge window.
In 2014 this tiny house was chosen to be one of the coolest 17 AirBnB listings in Canada. Read more: tinyheaven.capebreton.vacations

We were looking forward to stay at the TinyHouse, even in the cold weather with no heating. But it was a big surprise there was not even warm water (because it broke down before our arrival, and we weren't informed). In our opinion the outdoor shower was too dangerous with only boiling hot or ice cold water (mixing not possible) Because of the rainy weather the road was tough, and I think, definitely in fall with a lot of rain and mud, it is not suited for a regular rental car (sedan). Parking on the side of the road at the sign is not possible, it's too small and causes a dangerous situation blocking the road. The house itself was really lovely, and with proper facilities and in summer time it can be a very nice place.

Response from Robert:
Thanks for your feedback. Sorry for the cold and rainy weather, causing inconvenience. If you have no 4x4 drive parking on the side of the road as recommended in our house infos is no problem, wide enough for a heavy duty truck. Living off grid is challenging and a hot water shower powered by solar requires a propane water heater on demand, as we installed. We could not replace the broken, almost new item as it was shipped from US and we are still waiting for spare. We mentioned that together with the provided manual how to use the temporary hot outdoor shower. This problem will be fixed asap. We are glad you recommend the tinyheaven to friends and family in your private feedback (with fixed facilities).

We booked 3 nights at the tiny home, we had a great trip here. It was a great experience living with solar power, a decomposing toilet, and in a tiny home! We loved watching the sunset from the home and even one evening at the little beach below. It is a bit of a clime to get down to the water and the road into the lane of the tiny home is in rougher shape. Overall we had a great time here!

Without hesitation... "The Tiny Heaven House" was beyond our expectations! Heaven on Earth! One of the most beautiful experiences we have ever had. The house was neat and clean and ready to recieve us after we caught our breath from the breathtaking view. We didn't even see the beach yet! When we frolicked about and took our lovely stroll through the wildflower framed road to the private beach... that's when magic came to life... The water was there with open arms, rocks of every color, texture and size we had ever seen and a waterfall calling our name. The sunsets we had the pleasure of watching every night gave us a show for hours and never repeated its beauty once... different show every evening. This little house had windows everywhere and we could have our meals staring out into St. George's bay at every point. Not to mention the astounding experience of opening your eyes from a deep, relaxing sleep into a window that faces the beauty of Cape Breton Islands landscape.... what I miss the most... it wasn't a dream... The town of Inverness was charming, along with everyone it. On that note, our host Robert was more than just a host. He was pleasant, very friendly, communacative, welcoming and gave us advice as to where to visit and who could assist us as to where and what we wanted to see. Overall, our experience was worthy of 10 stars! Highly recommended, can't wait to go back!
