Hi Sameneh: Thank you for staying at my home, and glad I was able to offer your family three separate bedrooms and private bathroom for about $38 each during high season, and a Civic Holiday! My reasonably priced accomodations is my way giving back to others who opened their doors and hearts while backpacking and a tribute to honour my family heritage in hosting others. As a Super Host in my 7th quarter and with over 150+ 5-Star reviews, I always go above and beyond to assist my guests with personal conceirge style service if needed and beileve I did this with you and your family as well.
I'm so sorry to hear the 15 minute tour that included the great dining suggestions you utilized, and a few minutes in the morning to say good bye was too much too for you to bear. Your stay was for private room and bathroom - not private home!. Hosts appreciate guests that are thankful and appreciated, and not feel enitled.
Sorry to hear you felt forced to give an 'estimated time of arrival' as most hosts have outside responsibilities, work and family obligations outside of hosting, and so like most other hosts, we are not able to wait at home all day and be on call wondering when you'll be arriving; unfortunately home-sharing is not a hotel check-in. I'm so fortunate that my multitude of wonderful guests respect the common courtesy of providing an eta (estimated time of arrival) when visiting someone's home. I accept guests without reviews; although times like this it is a reminder of the learning curve first time guests come with - regardless, am glad you all stayed. It is clear a hotel setting would have suited you better. Wishing you great travel ahead.
