A great getaway for a young family! Gabby & Bruce's place was the perfect weekend retreat for our young family (toddler and newborn). Located in the Tallebudgera Valley, we felt like we were deep into the countryside (so quiet at night!) but were only a 10-15 minute drive from the local beaches. The house was just the right size, warm and clean. Gabby & Bruce also provided some delicious bacon, eggs and bread for our breakfasts. Ooh - and some sparkling wine too! The house was very child friendly too with baby gates on the front deck, a whole separate room full of toys and games as well as a backyard with a massive trampoline and cubby house. I'm not sure who had more fun on the trampoline - me or the toddler! The property itself had everything we were after to give our boy a taste of the countryside - gorgeous and friendly horses, chickens and plenty of local friendly birds who kept us company on the front deck each morning. Our boy especially loved being able to pick mandarins right off the tree. I've never seen him eat so much fruit in one sitting! We had fun exploring the local area too - we spent two lazy afternoons by the creek just up the road. Highly recommended :)

Bruce and Gabby both welcomed us to the property very friendly and gave us a welcoming bottle of bubbly! The location was great a short drive to beaches but yet a country feel. It was great being around all the wild life ducks, birds, chickens and horses. We would definitely recommend and would visit again. Thanks

Hi Bruce, Gabby Plenty of rich nature make us feel relax during stay there. Kids were enjoying trampoline, looking for insects or just running around the house. I believe when sky clear we can see spectacular stars. Maybe next time. Thank you. Yoshi

My grandchildren and I had an wonderful overnight holiday getaway at this beautiful property in a gorgeous location up Tallebudgera Valley - not too far from beach. We were welcomed by Bruce who showed us around then invited the children to help him feed the horses and chooks - a great experience. The children had a fun running and playing around the property and on the trampoline, then we had a fabulous evening BBQ in the special BBQ Hut. We spent a very comfy evening in The Cottage. Bacon and farm fresh eggs for breakfast was a great way to end our stay. This was a lovely change for us city folk!

Gabby + Bruce went out of their way to make our group comfortable and even offered us a couple of rooms in their main house at no extra cost to make it a bit more roomy for everyone. Truly stunning location as well. Couldn't recommend more!
