Be careful with the bed ropes do not cling to them.

It is not allowed to smoke.

Treat the Tablet carefully because if it falls to the ground it can break.

We looked forward to our stay at the cave given that it is such a unique place to stay - especially in a beautiful city such as Toledo. Ricardo gave very detailed and helpful instructions upon first contact. Unfortunately, we did not receive more correspondence with him even after asking about check in. The cave is exactly as pictured - beautiful, modern, and clean. It was in a more quiet part of town outside of the crowds of tourists. We arrived by train and opted to take a taxi from the train station to the plaza de Zocodover (the main plaza). From the plaza, it is a 10 minute walk. The streets of Toledo are narrow and lined with cobblestone - and many are uphill. It is hard to navigate the streets with large luggage although not impossible. If you have a lighter load, it is not a bad walk to the train station (just use the escalators near plaza de zocodover). The cave has beautiful lighting. It was nice to have a comfortable bed and a coffee machine. The bathroom was modern and clean. The wifi worked really well. We felt safe in the cave. The only downside to staying in a cave is its humidity (I did not mind this but my husband was slightly uncomfortable). All in all, I would recommend and would stay again.

This is a very special place to stay in Toledo. The Cave is extremely comfortable and has all mod cons (espresso machine was life blood in the morning). It is easily accessed by walking or even a taxi and is just beneath the main Cathedral so very central. Ricardo was very accomodating to our needs and his is an excellent host going out of his way to assist us. I highly recommend The Cave of Toledo.

The apartment is really nice and clean. My only comment is that if you are more than 2 people then you won't have the same amenities for all the guests. Besides that, the location is good and everything works well.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable and location was beyond great! Just a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and a 10 minute walk to the main part of town with restaurants and shopping.
