The Shore 609 - A fully appointed and centrally located apartment in Queenstown.

The space

The Shore - perfectly positioned on the lakes edge and very central to downtown Queenstown.

The Shore is a 2 bedroom , 1 bathroom holiday home. It is self contained with a kitchenette (microwave and cook top only) An off street carpark is also available for guest use - convenience is the key for this apartment and has everything you need for the perfect holiday.

There is also a landscaped courtyard with barbecue facilities, a gymnasium and sauna to enjoy.

Other things to note

Wi-fi can be purchased online through The Oaks Shores website for use during your stay. Please refer to the guest guide located in the apartment for further details.

Please note that there is no washing machine or clothes dryer within the apartment but there is a shared Oaks Shore Laundry that you are welcome to use during your stay (a small fee will apply)

The Shore Apartment that you are renting is privately owned and operated by Harcourts Property Management and Rentals. Please contact us if you have any problems during your stay and not The Oaks Shore Reception under any circumstances.

DAMAGES /NEGLIGENCE
We accept that breakages and accidents do happen, the person who made the booking is responsible to report any breakage to Harcourts Property Management and Rentals. Damage to the property and / or its furnishings caused by negligence will result in the cost being on-charged to the guest who made the booking.
NO SMOKING POLICY
There is a no smoking policy in all our holiday homes inside and outside.
PETS
No pets are allowed in any of our holiday homes.
SERVICE FEE
Our holiday homes must be left in a clean and tidy condition upon departure. Should the home require excessive cleaning over and above what is deemed reasonable, a charge of $35.00 plus gst per hour will be on-charged to the guest who made the booking. This includes but not limited to doing dishes, pots and pans, removal of rubbish, cleaning the oven after use and the BBQ. We also ask that guests do not move furniture around in the homes. If furniture is moved and not put back in the correct placement guests will be charged $35.00 plus gst per hour for the correct placement of the furniture items on check-out.

HOLIDAY HOME STANDARDS AND GENERAL TERMS
All our properties are privately owned homes and apartments. Each property is the personal taste of the owner.
We ask that guests staying in apartments please do not hang clothes, beach towels over the balconies and that drying racks are also not put outside or on the decks and balconies, this is a general rule in many of the apartment complexes.
The only consumables in our holiday homes on arrival are toilet paper and soap (sufficient for one stay day) The condiments, spices etc in the pantry cupboard are for your use but are not intentionally provided. Feel free to use what you need but it would be appreciated if you could replace or leave something similar when you leave.

Our favourite thing about this place was the location - about 10 minutes drive from the airport and even less to the city. The view was really nice and we loved walking along the lake. I would probably recommend hiring a car if you plan to stay here.

While it was all-in-all a reasonable stay, I wouldn't put this place at the top of Queenstown mid-range accommodation options. We have been in NZ for several months and based on other Queenstown visits, this one fell short. The unit is tightly next to long term residents who sit outside and smoke in front of your view. The bedrooms do not have natural daylight and wifi is very expensive and based on use, not time. Had a hard time getting host to respond as the plunger coffee was missing a piece to make it functional. However, Great spot for accessing the lakeshore track and if everything else is booked up, you'd be good here.

Good location, 5 min drive to town centre or nice 30 min walk around the lake front. Key card is on site so no issues checking in! Very comfortable stay, only possible issue if you're claustrophobic there are no outside windows in the bedrooms.

This is a great apartment with great location being so close to the airport and as well amazing view. The beds are great and amazing shower! The only problem was there wasn't enough toilet paper.
