In its original form the rooms were conceived as a series of bachelor pads or ‘minimum flats’. Since then the building’s function has been reimagined and its tenants include makers and thinkers such as students, artists, architects and curators.
Cairo includes a fully equipped kitchen with a small bar fridge / ice freezer, gas oven, hotplate, kettle and toaster. Pots, pans, plates and utensils are also available.
Gas operated oven turns on at power point on wall. The grill can be activated by pushing button on far left on oven control panel. Ensure to turn off.
