RELAX, rest, enjoy...you're right where you need to be! The best swimming in Rincon the Marina beach is in your back yard! There you can swim, paddleboard, snorkel or parasail. Enjoy the ocean view from each room! Listen to the waves as you drift off to sleep at night. Your neighborhood is quiet but just a ten-minute walk to town where you will find world-class dining, Thursday night art market, bakeries, and pharmacy. Like to surf? World-class waves are all less than a three-minute drive!

The space
Enjoy your home with it's open floor plan and ocean views from every room. Make breakfast in the kitchen... you have a view from there as well. Settle in on the spacious private patio and watch as Pelican's dive for fish. Everything in the home is sparkling clean! Returning from the beach it's nice to have the outside shower. Enjoy the view from your own private patio. Fire up the grill for some fresh fish skewers.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and yard. The yard is gated and we ask that you keep it closed as you come and go. We have a covered carport which holds two cars, laundry room and ocean facing patio. There is a balcony upstairs which is not complete and not currently accessible for guests!

This home is located in a resident neighbor that has a mixture of Airbnb homes and full time residents and locals. All of the homes are townhouses which have their own private entrances, parking, yards, owners, etc. This is a great neighborhood for families or small groups. It’s a quiet neighborhood & although it’s a nice place to enjoy a family barbecue in the backyard, it is not intended for parties or late night groups.

This home is perfect for families, guests who look forward to doing a lot of exploring on foot, or guests who opted out of renting a car. A short stroll in either direction from the house will lead you to either of Rincon’s best known swimming beaches.

The Marina Beach/Rincon Paddleboards/children’s swimming area:
You can either go out the back door and to the right or out the front door and to the left. Follow the path in the back or the sidewalk in the front down to the end then follow the trail to the left that leads to the beach. Once you’ve had the chance to put your feet into the sand, head to the right where you will see Rincon Paddleboards and the boat launch and then a small area with a handful of children playing inter water.

The Balneario/public beach/Harbor Restaurant:
If you go right out of the driveway and follow the sidewalk out of the neighborhood and to the road that you turned in off of, make a right (while facing the old high school building) and head towards the Harbor Restaurant (great food and happy hour by the way!). Just past the restaurant is the access to the public beach which is also great for swimming.

Although it is a nice walk to either of these beaches, you can also drive there as well.

The other great thing about this location is it’s proximity to downtown Rincon where you can shop, do some people watching, enjoy nightlife, experience a wide variety of unique and delicious dining options, and just take in some of the charm of Rincon that the downtown area very well displays. On most days, during the daytime hours, the downtown area of Rincon can tend to look rather abandoned but it truly comes to life at night after sundown. There are usually a variety of restaurants, bars or cafes with life music, Artwalk on Thursday nights (postponed during pandemic), & Farmers Market on Sunday mornings.

Just like all of Rincon, the entire area is very safe and you can feel relaxed and stress free walking the streets anytime during night or day.

There is also a baseball field, public library, skatepark, and surf museum nearby which are all great attractions.

If you’re an adventurer and want to get to know the town, there is no better way than to walk around and get to know it personally. We recommend that you get your beach time in as early as possible so that you can enjoy the most calm water and the best weather, avoiding any common afternoon showers, depending on the season. After you’ve had your fill at the beach, it’s a good time to go home and get showered or freshened up (maybe even a quick nap), before venturing out to sample the food and nightlife!

If you’re a surfer, we are also not far from Steps Beach, Maria’s, Domes, etc.

Other things to note
Home security system with smart door lock and motion activated cameras on the front porch and rear doors.
Puerto Rico is subject to water and power outages which are out of our control. We don’t currently have a generator.

Location

Rincon, Puerto Rico

This sweet and secluded neighborhood is a great mix of local's who have been here for generations and those, like myself, who have fallen in love with Rincon, and decided to buy our own piece of paradise. The location is superb with the ocean only a 2 minute walk away & easy access to local restaurants and shops. Truly a hidden gem!
