This space is nestled in native bush and has been evolving over the past 30 years ,with over 50 fruit trees, gardens & vegy gardens a pottery studio and (URL HIDDEN) a guest you will have your own little house ,the main house is about 10m away separated by trellis and and plants .There is a small kitchen with all hand made ceramics and a small back bed room with a double bed .The lounge living room has the main queen bed as well as a couch ,TV cabinet with DVD player and stereo the fire place and a writing desk .In front of the kitchen is a well protected comfortable outside sitting area for breakfast or coffee or to read a book ,in the back of the cottage is a covered washing line and to the side is a lean to for all recycling or to store a (URL HIDDEN) is a passive solar designed house for maximum sun and we are on a spring and tank water supply. All the dishes in the house are made in the studio next door so are the sculptures in the garden.
There is plenty of parking in front of the house ,a large deck in front of the house to enjoy a relaxing breakfast.The pottery & gallery doors will be open when the owner is around.5 min walks to the beach (tidel /rocky) safe swimming at high tide ,link pathway which will connect Picton and Havelock as a walking and biking track in front of the the property, other art galleries in walking distance .
Interaction with guests
We are part time living at the house next door but we try to welcome the guest and help you check in and answer any question and give you tips for the area.
Other things to note
Please note that the drive way is a uphill gravel road. Please use first gear with constant speed.

I have been living on the land for over 30 years,we build the house and developed the land and gardens .I am very connected to nature and whats around me &I love to take care of the land .About 20 years ago I started my experience with clay and set up Tai Tane pottery studio and gallery.Originally form Germany with a background in organic farming and some art studies I have been living in NZ over 30 years and I speak german and english
