Feel at home during your stay in Madrid.
My apartment is very bright and cozy and located right in the city centre of Madrid.
The apartment is 50 square mt. (4th floor with elevator): one double space (living room+bedroom (with one double size bed), one bathroom (with bath) and a fully equipped kitchen.
The building is quite new (1998). The doorman is in the building almost all day. He is very helpful.
All you need for a comfortable stay:
. Wi-fi / Fiber Internet /ADSL installed in June 2015
· Air conditioning and heating system
· Audio System
· 1 double bed
· 1 confortable leather couch
· Refrigerator with freezer and anything to need for cooking
· Toaster, squeezer, kettle
· Washing machine
· Iron, hair dryer
· Shower and bath (the boiler contains 75 Lts. / 2 short hot showers. After that you should wait a little bit)
And, of course, all very clean and comfortable. I take much care of my space. Fresh linen and towels are provided.
Interaction with guests
I'm not usually in Madrid when my guests arrive, but there's always one friend in charge of delivering the keys and taking care of everything. In case you need anything you can contact me by phone, mail, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)... (I'll reply as soon as possible) or contact the person who gave you the keys.
Just take care of the apartment as if it were your own.
Lock the door when you leave the apartment and check the cooker is off.
Please, no smoking. You can use the balcony.
No shoes in the apartment.
Mmm... so difficult describing myself...
I'm a Professor of Italian Cultural Studies at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). I love teaching, but I really needed to find the way of working a bit less and travelling a bit more, and... voilà!!! I discovered Airbnb!!!
I've been travelling since I was 15, I've lived in Italy for 6 years, I've spent some time here and there and now I live part-time in Madrid and part-time wherever life takes me... I must say I've been very lucky while travelling around the world and met wonderful people, therefore hospitality and making people feel at home while staying at my place is one of my priorities.
And, what do I like? Mostly everything (I'm compulsively curious): travelling, reading, cycling, independent cinema, french music, yoga, squash...
