This is definitely a cozy spot. My wife and I stayed here for four nights in mid-June and we loved it. The Cozy Spot has a great view and is close to Magen's Bay and Downtown. You will need a car to get here but a car is helpful to explore the island. The bed was comfortable. The rooms were clean. The neighbor is a foodie and will give you great recommendations on places to eat. We stayed in mid-June and while there is no-AC it wasn't an issue. Being up in the hills provides a great breeze and the ceiling fans help cool the place and make it comfortable. There is also a nice balcony to sit out and enjoy the breeze and the view. We loved being serenaded by "Johnny" the rooster each morning. He was happy to greet each day and let you know it's time to see the island. We'll miss him. Apryl was a fantastic host. She was quick to respond to my questions. Checked on my progress getting to the island and finding her place and she checked up on us every so often. She even provided us with the best mangos we had that grow on her parents property. I would certainly recommend it.

The cozy spot was exactly a cozy spot. It was nestled in the hills of St Thomas with a beautiful view of the greens and ocean. Apryl was very accommodating. She met us at the car rental place and we followed her to her place our first day, which was amazing since we have never been there before and wasn't sure where we were going. She left us a sweet surprise of fresh fruit, flowers and a cute bag of goodies for us and my daughter. It was a nice surprise. We were very close to the beach which is what we wanted and checked out Brooks Bar our first night. Brooks bar was relaxing and great local food. The cozy spot wasn't to far from Charlotte Amalie or the airport. I would advise of the steep decline of the driveway which made it a bit of a challenge considering we have never driven on roads with such incline and decline. We ended up parking in the side parking spot just below our little parking spot due to the fact that we had a hard time backing out and driving back up the steep hill and not having enough momentum. After the first day we got accustomed to it and it was no big deal. It was very hot and humid. The cozy spot had ceiling fans which helped alot. A/C would have been a bonus but we made due and loved the experience all around of the island and being able to explore and enjoy the culture of St Thomas without being in the hustle and bustle of a hotel or resort. If your not concerned about steep drive ways or A/C, I would totally recommend the Cozy Spot. Quite and quaint.

Amazing place with a gorgeous view. Definitely will want a car to get around, but my girlfriend and I did pretty fine without :) Definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax on an island.

It was a really lovely apartment we stayed in, the last of 2 weeks at USVI. We experienced a great hospitality, kindness and helpfulness both from Apryl and her parents side. The apartment fully lived up to the description. It is an advantage to take action against mosquitoes! As Danes, we should get used to the steep roads and driveways and the "stay left"! We enjoyed watching the birds and iguanas in the garden. It was a perfect way to vacation without being affiliated with a larger charter company. Magens Bay and Hull Bay were our most visited beaches - Nice coolness on very hot days and the beautiful turquoise clear sea water - what more to dream about .....

Apryl's place was great! The view and the breeze were amazing. The house is located very close to Magen's Bay Beach but I do recommend that you rent a car since the house is located on a hill and there aren't any sidewalks to walk on the street. Apryl was very flexible. We had to change our check-in time since we experienced a few flight delays but she was very accommodating. The house is definitely cozy and is the perfect spot if you want to avoid those expensive luxury hotels.

Apryl was a wonderful host. She met us at the nearest hotel to her place and drove us the rest of the way. She was very informative and helpful. She also left us a welcome bag filled with maps, momentos from the island, and a bottle of rum! Positives: The apartment is spacious. The apartment has beautiful views. Needs improvement: You are unable to sleep past seven due to the sunlight from the window and it is difficult to get transportation from this location. We truly enjoyed our trip and thank you for making it a pleasant stay! Rachel
