Kahmeelah's place was as described: beautiful timber walls, clean, and quiet. The supermarket and other shops are only 15 minutes away by walking. Note that taking the route to the right (Wharf road) from the house to the supermarket is less hillier. Kahmeelah is also always open for a chat; we learned quite a bit about Waiheke and New Zealand in general from our discussions. Communications were clear and prompt. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. Would recommend staying at her place.

Response from Kahmeelah:
Wharf road direct route to Ostend, takes me 10 mins, 11 to supermarket. You can catch bus 4 mins either way. I sometimes catch it back with shopping. Sat morning 8.30-12.30 is iconic Waiheke Market-worth seeing and being there, under 20 mins from house, or go by bus. In Summer there's a nice wetland track beside the road which is longer but sweet.

Kahmeelah' s place was very nice, clean and tidy. She's a lovely lady. Although I stayed only one night, it was nice to chat with her and watch tv together. Location is really convenient. Bus stop just in 2 mins and palm beach is 15-20 mins walk. Defiantly recommend it. Would love to stay again if I go back. Michelle

She will welcome you with a Hongi (the breath of life). Teach you how to get to Countdown. Her house is like a reverse terrarium. Read the Chinese Zodiac Book in the dresser - it will make you think about yourself a lot. Don't hesitate to talk to Kahmeelah because you will definitely enjoy talking to her.

If you want a wonderful, welcoming, chilled place to stay on Waiheke Island then Kahmeelahs is the place to choose. Beautiful atmosphere and surrounded by bush and a lovely large room. Was there for 10 days and would book Kahmeelah again if we went back to the island. Couldn't speak more highly of her ave close to all main places including the island supermarket.

Beautiful and quiet get away! Loved that there was a fire (a real fire!) going when I checked in. Beautiful log cabin close to Palm Beach, the countdown and the Saturday Market. Kahmeelah was very kind and super informative. I enjoyed talking to her and was very comfortable in her home. Will definitely come stay again. Thanks Kahmeelah! Xo

I love Waiheke because of the community and nature. I like meditation, music and am interested in yoga. I love the quiet of my house with the chimes and birds. I like meeting new people and often have people staying from other countries. This's a supportive neighborhood and part of a greater community, which I also like. I am friendly, interested, have a lot of life experience and care about others.
