Just 50 metres from the beach for swimming and watersports and Medmerry Nature Reserve for walking/cycling.

With attractions, such as Goodwood, Chichester Festival Theatre and the South Downs close by as well as having the beach on the doorstep, this is a superb location - 5 minute drive to East Wittering village and less than 10 minutes to the beautiful sandy beach at West Wittering

You can watch stunning sunsets on the beach and then come back to fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

The space
A private annexe, integral to the house but completely self-contained with its own entrance, comprising of a studio room with en-suite shower room and off-street parking.
To gain entry, you give us a 4-digit code and we’ll set it into the key safe for when you arrive, no need to wait for us.

There is no kitchen but a small fridge is provided together with a microwave, kettle and toaster.
We provide a welcome pack, which includes tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter and cereals.

During your stay, please let us know if you need access to a washing machine and/or an iron, ironing board and clothes airer and we will make arrangements. Beach towels are also available.

The furnishings include a King-Size Bed, a small 2-seater sofa and television with Netflix.
We don't have a travel cot or spare bed in the annexe but if you can bring your own, children are also welcome. An extra pillow and single duvet can be provided if you need it. The overall space is not large, so only one extra single camp bed could be accommodated.

During your stay, you are welcome to store bicycles in our locked bike shed in the back garden. Surfboards can also be left in the garden, behind a bolted gate.

Where you’ll be

Bracklesham Bay, England, United Kingdom

Bracklesham beach is no more than a minute’s walk away. There is a short cut-through onto the beach on the opposite side of the road so if you like to surf, you needn’t even get in the car.

There are plenty of watersports and swimming off Bracklesham beach, neighbouring East Wittering and the beautiful sandy beach of West Wittering, which is about a 5 minute drive away, through back roads, avoiding all the queues on the main roads in the height of summer. If you’re a surfer, we can keep your boards safe in the back garden.

Medmerry Nature Reserve, suitable for walking and cycling, is only a short walk along the beach from the house.

There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in both Bracklesham and The Witterings. The closest being Billy’s on the Beach, with its seafront views, only 5 minutes’ walk away and offering great breakfasts as well as light snacks and meals all day... it’s very family friendly.

Chichester is a 15 minute drive away, with its bustling town centre, shops, historic buildings, Cathedral, Festival Theatre and Pallant House Art Gallery.

The Goodwood Estate, Race Course and the South Downs are only a further 10 minutes from Chichester. So if you’re going to the races, The Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival, the theatre or any of the other attractions in the area, why not take advantage of a quiet location by the sea at the same time?

During your stay

As we both work part-time, contact with us could be quite limited. There should always be an opportunity to say hello and if you need anything, please feel free to ring the doorbell to see if we're home or text us.

If you want privacy and not to be disturbed at all, just let us know, there should be no need for our input if you don't want it, as the accommodation has its own private entrance and facilities.
