We loved our stay in the waggon! This was my first visit to Amsterdam and this was a lovely and different way to see the city. You have to travel to and from Amsterdam, obviously, but if you are the type of person who is happy to walk 15 mins to a bus stop you will find very…

Children had great fun looking at the animals. Caravan was different and we enjoyed it. Only criticism would be that the top bunks have no rails to stop them falling out of bed and that the bicycles (of which there were plenty) were too big for children. But other than that it…

Exactly as I expected. 40 min pleasant cycle into city, 15 min walk to bus stop, and 20 min bus to city centre. €15 cab. Though not ideal for those looking to club etc. it's definitely still feasible if you're travelling on a budget. Definitely recommend!

Living in the countryside, just near Amsterdam is great fun. We live between the meadows in a very quet area and at the same time a great city is at armlength. My profession is IT projectmanager, and I am a local historian and a musician, playing the trombone in the local…
