Jills house is beautiful. Just a couple of things that could be helpful for the next person. The guests staying on the first floor room and bath had very little light and no night stand nor dresser to put stuff away. The same with the bath room. No counter space. They had to use the floor to put blowdry/iron/make-up etc.!! And lastly, the kitchen needs a bit more cookware to work with. Example, no lids to keep grease from splattering.

Response from Jill:
Karen, I'm sorry you were looking for a larger dresser in the guest bedroom. Most guests find there is ample room with the nightstand drawer, table at end of bed and full closet and shelf. In the bathroom, there is a tall standing shelf unit that most guests open and place blow dryers, make-up bags, etc. in, which contains numerous shelves. Thank you for the recommendation about the lids, as we'll be sure to add that to the future kitchen staples. Despite those items, we hope you enjoyed your stay in our home and surrounding area.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed there for 3 nights while visiting the Grand Tetons during the summer. The house is beautifully decorated inside and nicely landscaped on the outside. It's located in a private community with plenty of open land. There are horses and a few chickens in the back--bit of a novelty for city folks. ;) It's close enough to Victor and Briggs to be convenient for food and supplies, but far enough away that the stars are amazing at night. Jill was a great host. Always very responsive and helpful!

For my party of two middle-age couples, this place was perfect. Intimate kitchen and living room with private retreats for each couple. Cozy, cool during the warm day and comfortable during the cool night. Wireless worked great, plenty of amenities available in town, and we made a quick loop through Yellowstone one day. The night-time sky here on a moonless, cloudless night is stupendous. Bring a telescope with a wide angle lens. The only bad news is it's a long drive from San Francisco.

We stayed in this home for three nights the first part of August. We were concerned because this beautiful property does not have air conditioning, but it gets really cool at night. We opened the windows during the day when we were there and it was nice and cool when we were sleeping. This place is super clean and equipped with everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. The Host, Jill, is easy to work with, and responds to concerns rapidly.

Jill's place was a perfect base for a number of outdoor activities that my family was looking for as well as sight seeing at Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The house was about two hours from the National Parks, situated in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful valley. We only had to drive 10-15 min to get to a large grocery store in downtown Driggs (Victor is closer but a smaller town). With all the tips that Jill was so kind to offer us prior to and during our stay, we were able to go fly fishing, kayaking in a local river, horseback riding, wild animal watching (saw 100+ bisons in Hayden Valley!), mountain biking in Grand Targhee Resort which is only 30 min drive, and much more! This is definitely going to be one of the most unforgettable vacations for our family. It was great to be back in Jill's beautiful and spacious house after a full day, enjoy our own cooking, relax in a jacuzzi, and enjoy the late summer sun sets with glasses of wine. If you can stay up late or wake up in the middle of your sleep, you'll also be able to see a sky with full of stars and several shooting stars just like we did! Highly recommended if you are outdoor lover.
