Located in the Lower Laurentians, our property, which we call "Boldairpur", enjoys an exceptional site of 480 acres with all the attractions of a generous nature. The abundant and varied Laurentian fauna and flora have competed in beauty since we arrived in 1984. We respectfully rub shoulders with them and they make it feel good for us. Boldairpur opens up to you humbly and warmly, in any season, to allow you to simply enjoy this soothing and energizing nature; or to participate in one of our activities; or to share our daily lives; or for all at the same time. Our daily trips on our paths, in our trails, in the fields and in the woods, along the river, or near the lake , ponds and creeks, allow us to regularly rub shoulders with the many species of mammals in the area, look up at the many birds that enchant our ear, and pay attention to the singing insects carpet in the herbs, all embellished with many varieties of trees including a large maple grove. The small departure group wanted to create a peaceful common place, conducive to the realization of everyone's potential with respect for themselves, others and the environment. This is how, on this inspiring and energising site, a hundred people have voluntarily invested time, money and elbow grease over the years. This invaluable contribution has allowed the establishment of infrastructure, buildings and many services: roads, trails, a vast welcome pavilion, about thirty cottages (farmhouses) scattered in the landscaped forest, a maple grove of 8,000 notches, flower gardens and lush vegetable gardens, a vineyard of 200 more than 20 years old requiring revitalization, a garden pavilion, an off-land pool, outdoor activity areas. All these efforts and the resulting fruits have allowed residents to create a peaceful and welcoming place, in an atmosphere of sharing and respect. Pampered by all this abundance, they are now animated by the desire to give to the next one. Welcome to our home!
