This is a quiet residential building so please try to keep it pleasant for the neighbors. Also the kitchen is pretty small and cleanliness is key. For that reason, cooking must be kept to a minimum. There is a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and dishwasher for guest use. Apart form that, make yourself at home!

I would honestly give this place 10 stars if I could! Maya was the sweetest host ever and was so great--even making me coffee right after my arrival and helping me carry my bags up the steps. The place is cozy and clean and just steps away from the Subway--really could not have asked for a better place to stay for a weekend in NYC!

Maya and Tommy greeted very kindly. Also, during my stay for a week, the unknown point was touched politely and I was very saved. It's close to Midtown and the location is convenient, quiet and peaceful It was a place. It is recommended.

This place was my home for the duration of a 10-week summer internship I had in the City. I’m from Texas, and even though I had friends that would be in the City the whole summer, I knew I would have trouble living alone and fending for myself more than I ever have. However, thanks to Maya and Tommy, I felt that I had an actual, quiet place of comfort in a City with few and far of those in between. They addressed almost all of my concerns because of a genuine interest in helping me out. Concerns such as: - exploring the neighborhood and finding good spots to eat and grocery shop at. They took me on a walking tour my first week there and gave me a list of good places (Lenwich, Food Emporium being among them) to check out. Throughout my stay, I frequented those places and am grateful for their advice. - feeling lonely when at the apartment and not with my friends. Anytime we were all home, they included me in what they were doing. If they were cooking food and watching tv, I was offered some food (always reaaaaally good food) and was invited to hang with them. I was apprehensive about intruding, but they quelled my concerns by always being so interested in including me. They also invited me to join them when they went out to do stuff. I had a great time hanging with them and am so appreciative of their interest in getting to know me. - cleanliness and amenities. I was expecting that a small apartment in the middle of Manhattan might be really small, dirty, have no air conditioning, no TV; that it would be just enough to get by. This was not the case. Their apartment was consistently neat and organized (I almost had trouble keeping up with their cleanliness), and has a nice living room perfect for sitting back and watching TV after a day at work. I always felt comfortable here, even during the brutal NYC summer. - a lack of privacy. I figured that in a small apartment, I wouldn’t have the ability to escape the City and just chill if need be. I never felt that this was the case. They completely respected my privacy, and it’s almost hard to believe how close the apartment is to Times Square given how quiet the apartment is. Of course, it’s an apartment in Manhattan, so expect a small bathroom and kitchen. But if I -- a college student who doesn’t know how to cook anything more complicated than scrambled eggs -- can adapt, then I’m sure anyone can. Overall, I couldn’t have had a better experience staying here. The apartment was great, but even better were Maya and Tommy. Whether for a couple days or an extended stay, this place has everything you need. I will always be grateful to Maya and Tommy for making this summer one to fondly remember. Thanks again, y’all!

Just the place to be in NYC! Everything perfect as described - not big, but just enough for some days in New York. Bed and their appartement are really quiet - not what you'd expect from a place a short walk away from Times Square. Maya and Tommy are really lovely hosts with plenty of knowledge about the surrounding blocks. Had a really good time there!

Maya and Tommy are just lovely people !! Very helpful and always asking if I needed anything ... I did not meet them a lot as I was always going out very early but they were texting me to make sure everything was ok the flat is in a perfection location !!! I will definitely recommend this place to stay in New York !!!

Maya User ProfileMaya is a superhost.

Thailand born, New York and Bangkok are my home bases. I switch between the two countries depending on the weather :) love to travel (of course). What excites me the most is getting to a new destination! My boyfriend and I are listing a bedroom in our 2 bedroom apt just a stone's throw from Times Sq. with the city's largest subway station on our block! We are both busy people and usually out of the house most of the day.
I also have a Hostel in Bangkok so hospitality comes naturally! Looking forward to hearing from you!
