The space
If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Washington DC, look no further! Our newly renovated 8 bedroom basement apartment is located just a stone’s throw away from the Howard/Shaw Metro and the Howard University Medical School.

The entire building is bright, sunny, and clean, with lots of windows that let in plenty of natural light. We have 5 rooms available, each with a size of 10 feet by 8 feet. The small-sized rooms are perfect for students, interns, and young professionals who don’t need a lot of space. The rooms come furnished and include free Wi-Fi. Utilities such as water, electricity, and heat are included in the rent.

The apartment has three shared bathrooms, which are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. The apartment has a small living room and a kitchen with new tiles and lovely appliances such as a microwave, refrigerator, and electric range. The apartment has central air conditioning and heating, ensuring that you stay comfortable throughout your stay. The secured entrance and lovely recess lights add to the charm of the apartment.

Please note that there is no laundry machine in the house. Laundry will be done at a laundromat.

Its a very safe neighborhood and the house is situated in the upper NW section of the District. It’s a busy, friendly and safe neighborhood full of row-houses and commercial buildings with great front porches, small neighborhood businesses, grocery stores, and lots of nearby parks. You will often see local residents out walking their dogs or jogging at all hours of the day.
