Spacious private room in large mid-century modern waterfront home. Recently renovated in Fall 2018 with solid bamboo wood floor, new central A/C and a large window overlooking breathtaking canal.

The space
The spacious private room was a large storage room when I first purchased my home in 2010. This room had rough concrete walls, a concrete floor and visible electrical and water pipes. I used it as a rehearsal studio, drum teaching studio and storage room for several years.

In January 2017, I began beautifying the room by adding a mocha bamboo wood floor. I removed all the storage shelves, upgraded the central A/C, built a small closet to house the A/C and opened a window to provide a view to the beautiful canal behind my home.

It's a large, fun space with two elegant Ikea beds, a large Ikea desk overlooking the canal, an Ikea wardrobe cabinet, a dresser and a 32" Roku TV.

BEDS: Enjoy a sweet night's rest on memory foam mattresses that adjust to your back. One of the beds is a Queen-size Malm bed with an Ikea Morgedal memory foam mattress; the other is a Full-size Ikea Hopen bed with an Ikea Morgedal memory foam mattress. There is also a twin-size mattress tucked under the Hopen bed that you can pull out.

BATHROOMS: You'll have access to three full guest bathrooms in the main home. The nearest bathroom is small, but it has a shower and is only steps away from the room.

KITCHEN: You'll enjoy access to the large kitchen of the main home, as well as a space in one of the two refrigerators of my home.

LAUNDRY: This room is next to the Laundry area of the home.

Guest access
My house is large, with seven bedrooms and other common areas. I have multiple rooms listed on AirBnB, as well as two roommates. Depending on my bookings, there could be several different AirBnB groups staying at my home. Each group will have their own private bedroom. As a guest in my home, you will have access to the shared common areas of the home, such as the Living Room, Patio Room, Kitchen, Backyard and Laundry Room. Because the house is so large, it never feels crowded.

During your stay
Since I work from home, I am usually available to help my guests with any requests. My roommates, Gustavo and La Johnna, are also available to help guests with any requests. Gustavo and I are fluent in English and Spanish. I was born and raised in Miami so I know this town very well and can provide great recommendations.

Other things to note
My home is one of the largest in Hollywood, Florida, with almost 4,000 square feet of space. There are seven different rooms. Four of these are listed on AirBnB. Even with numerous guests, you will feel like you have your own space. It never feels crowded.
