Armelle is a thoughtful and responsive host. She met me at the house as arranged and gave a very complete tour and directions. She even gives good advice on restaurants and other services, including how to get around town! Thanks you Armelle for a lovely stay! I will be back!

I would write this in French, but am hoping English speakers will read it. Armelle came from Paris to welcome us and greeted us with a bottle of wine and a local cheese. The communication was superb and we would (and perhaps will) rent the house again. This was the 3rd house in 3 different regions we rented over 3 weeks in May. This is still a grand house from the 18th C, with modern amenities added to the architectural charm of the era. The location is perfect and we enjoyed using it as a base for our explorations. We are active for our ages and the many steps were not a problem. However, it is not a house suited to those with mobility issues or with small children. As this is a lived-in home, you will find a large library of both books and CDs. The kitchen was well furnished. The beds and linens were comfortable. The only negative is bathing. There is a very large tub with the usual hand held shower. It requires care in order to contain the spray.

Armelle was lovely, she was there to greet us at 8.00pm the night we arrived, showed us around her beautiful home and had left us some supplies for breakfast. There was so much history in this beautiful French home really enjoyed staying there, loved how it was decorated and felt very comfortable being there. Enjoyed sitting in the little garden it was very nice. The day we left we had the opportunity to spend some time talking to Armelle, we were very interested in the history of the home. A great stay. Would be happy to recommend staying there.
