Our beautiful, family cottage is located 15 minutes outside of Gooderham, ON. You will love the quiet, private location; we have family on one side and Crown land on the other. Enjoy stunning views from the living room and wrap-around deck, cook lavish meals in our fully equipped kitchen, use a fire pit for marshmallow roasts. We have 2 kayaks and a canoe to play on the lake. We are equipped for young children and welcome families from all backgrounds to enjoy our peaceful escape from the city.

The space
Camp Glamor was designed to provide beautiful views of the lake and forest. Soaring ceilings and high windows ensure a comfortable temperature even on the hottest days, without air conditioning.

Play pool, or darts in the basement rec room. Swim off the dock, or paddle around the lake in our kayaks and canoe. Have a weenie roast on one of our 2 outdoor fire pits (conditions permitting), hold a horseshoe tournament or just lay out on the deck and work on your tan. ***Please note, for fall bookings, the water levels drop considerably as we are part of the Trent-Severn waterway. There will not be any private swimming or polar dips by September, nor can we allow any outdoor fires in September or October as there is no way to put them out. There is, however, a nearby public beach that has great swimming and easy access. Ask for details***

In inclement weather there are a tonne of boardgames and 2 crokinole boards for hours of fun. We are well equipped to host families with young children. A full kitchen and bbq will make sure you don’t go hungry!

We are a 15 minute drive from Gooderham, ON where there is a small LCBO, a well-stoked convenience store and gas. For more selection we are 25 minutes away from Haliburton, ON which has an LCBO, 2 grocery stores, a large drug store, some cute local shops and restaurants. Wander the Sculpture Forest, and in the month of August got to the Forest Festival, both just outside of Haliburton proper. We are 30 minutes from Kinmount, ON which has a movie theatre, artisans marketplace and hosts the Kinmount Fair every year during Labour Day weekend.
