My place is really great for a family holiday. It is ideal for a peaceful and quiet getaway. The house is spacious yet feels warm and cosy. On sunny days you can relax in the large, safe, south-facing garden and patio. It's only a short ten minute stroll to the promenade, beach and centre of Ballycastle. There is a caravan park across the road with a play park, bar and restaurant. It is an ideal base for exploring the stunning North Coast.
NB. The house is wheelchair accessible.

The space
The house is warm and cosy yet with plenty of space and a massive garden.

Guest access
You will have access to the whole house and garden.

Other things to note
The house is wheelchair accessible but please note that all bedrooms are upstairs.
Please also note that there is no private driveway. Guests will have to park their car on the street at the front of the house.

Ballycastle, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom

The street is quiet but you are not far from the beach, promenade and town which is busier, especially during the Summer months.

I am a thirty-something mum of two. I work for the National Trust and love exploring the history of Irish houses and their collections. Five things I can't live without are my family, my sleep, cups of tea, walking on the beach, a good book and a glass of wine at the weekend! I love travelling in Europe, especially France and Greece, where the food is divine! I will read just about anything but my favourite authors are John Irving, Louis de Bernieres, John Steinbeck and Roald Dahl! Favourite movies are Pulp Fiction, The Lives of Others, PS I love you (I know!!). I love Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and the Dixie Chicks! I enjoy seafood, especially when really fresh and eating it on or near a beach! I love BBQ's too. I am a friendly, approachable host and will do my best to inform you of all the highlights in the area in order to make your stay as comfortable and special as I can.
