We actually rented the entirety of this house and the house they own next door for our families to stay at on our wedding weekend in Saugerties. Because our families include elders who have special needs, we needed to ask for a lot to make sure all were comfortable. Mark went out of his way to accommodate us, from letting us come prior to view the house in person, to allowing us to have a rented lazyboy brought in and receiving it and being in good communication throughout. The house and our stay was really great. Everything is very clean and modern mixed stylishly with a original details of the house (i'm an architect and interior designer so I dont say this lightly;). There are private bathrooms in all of the 4 second floor bedroom and another in the loft space which has 2 rooms that feel like little apartments. All of the bedrooms are generously sized. The public/shared spaces on the grand floor are large and really comfortable and for me the clincher is a clean and modern kitchen- check. Lastly, a small elevator going from the ground to the second floor made this doable for our family so that the elders having issues with stairs could easily get up and down. Thank you for all your help throughout and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

What a gorgeous property! Had a great time here for a group get-away with 12 adults and 6 toddlers. Plenty of space for all. The kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook large meals. The views from the property are wonderful and the yard was great for relaxing and having the kids play.

This is a very special home. The property sits high above Saugerties, with lawns sweeping down to an epic west facing view of the Catskills. The house itself is designed for occasion and celebration. There's a baby grand piano and an Art Deco bar in the lounge. The cooks kitchen and formal dining room can host a celebration dinner for 8 or 10 people. The garden is set up for croquet, and a fire pit is laid out for people who would rather toast s'mores than stir martinis. The rooms are huge, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are ensuite. The vibe is decadent prewar country house weekend, which makes it ideal for reunions, retreats and special occasions. (We hired it for a three generation family vacation.) The owners clearly have had a lot of fun designing the property. You will have a lot of fun staying there.

Our second time staying here - wonderful place, and don't forget to make use of the gorgeous 4-season room in the front and the huge backyard in the back. We'll be back!

Mark and Ryan were wonderful hosts. They were easy to coordinate with and very accommodating. Our group had a lovely time at their home, which looks even more amazing in person. We enjoyed lounging in the covered porch and stargazing by the campfire. I highly recommend their home and would absolutely return again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is comfortable and well-equipped. The pictures don't do it justice-- the house is more spacious than we thought it would be. We would highly recommend it.

My friends and I (we're 6 young professional couples from NYC) had the loveliest Memorial Day weekend at this Saugerties property. There was plenty of space inside and outside for all of us (plus two dogs). We especially loved the fully-equipped kitchen, the outdoor grill and the Netflix-ready TV. The property felt private but was still close enough to neighboring towns that we weren't too secluded. It was a quick car ride to restaurants, the grocery store, hiking trails and the shops in Woodstock. For other guests, we'd note that if you're traveling as couples, it's a little awkward not to have a communal bathroom for the third floor bedrooms and guests should remember toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc) as the bathrooms aren't stocked. We hope you'll love the place as much as we did!
