Giraffe Plains offers self-catering holiday accommodation ideally located on the Zebula Golf and Wildlife Estate. Zebula is set on 1600-hectares of African bushveld in the shadows the Waterberg Mountain range.
Accommodation is offered in 2 self-catering cottages, sleeping 4 guests in total with the entertainment area in the middle. Bathrooms include a bath and a shower each. It has a kitchen and lounge as well as a pool.
The space
Giraffe Plains offers self-catering holiday accommodation ideally located on the Zebula Golf Estate and Spa. Zebula is set on 1600-hectares of African bushveld in the shadows the Waterberg Mountain range, and offers a 5 Star graded golf estate, a nature reserve, and a health spa.
Accommodation is offered in 2 self-catering cottages, sleeping 4 guests in total, and are linked by an entertainment area. Each cottage can accommodate 2 guests, each having an air-conditioned en-suite bedroom with a queen sized bed.
The kitchen is fully furnished and equipped for self-catering purposes. The living area has TV with DSTV and flows out to the undercover entertainment area with outside furniture and a gas braai. Outside there is luscious green grass with a firepit to enjoy a crackling fire under the stars as well as a pool with a safety net and pool loungers to soak up the sun. Cleaning is included except for public holidays but can be arranged for an additional fee.

Zebula’s accommodations are situated in a malaria-free area with a variety of wildlife and plenty of plains game to view.
With a contemporary bush atmosphere, but at the same time a tremendous diversification of venues to keep the entire family busy during their stay.
Zebula is conveniently located only 2 hours from Johannesburg International Airport and 1 and a half hours north of Pretoria. Please note that a conservation fee of R150 (R350 for a mini-bus) per vehicle is payable (No cash, only card facilities) before you enter Zebula at the entrance gate.
The road is completely tarred to the front gate which makes travelling very easy.
Other things to note
No loud music allowed here in our tranquil environment. No bachelor parties.
Guests have access to restaurants, play areas, conservation areas and all other activities available at the Zebula Golf Estate & Spa, but guests will need to book hotel, spa, and golf facilities at the hotel at an additional cost. Subject to availability and T&C's apply. Shops and stores are limited in the area, and it is recommended that guests stock up in Bela-Bela.

There are lots of activities happening at Zebula. The main attraction for men is off course in the golf and for the ladies the spa. The clubhouse boasts with a wonderful restaurant for those lazy relaxing days that you don't want to self cater. There is small shop where you can buy some needy groceries and some mementoes. Then there is horse riding, quad-biking, archery, fishing and wildlife education and game rides. There is a fully equipped gym, big swimming pool, squash court, tennis court and a mini soccer court. The elephants is just outside Zebula across the road where you can interact, swim, ride and feed them. All information about activities in and around Zebula is available at the kiosk by the clubhouse.
