Our two-bedroom flat is located in the picturesque old quarter of Bristol city centre, in a stunning Grade II listed building close to the city centre, Lloyds amphitheatre, victoria street and temple quay. Fully-equipped, clean & comfortable and able to sleep up to 6 people on request! You'll find it the perfect place to stay if you want to be right in the centre of Bristol life - be it business or pleasure!

The space
Our flat has two double bedrooms plus a compact mezzanine sleeping platform with many original features, including a stunning bow window overlooking vibrant Corn Street below, perfect for observing the buzzing old-town’s hub! There is a separate fully-equipped kitchen, with washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and complimentary tea and coffee for all guests.
Our bathroom has just been newly refurbished and features a huge walk in rainfall shower. Although both bedrooms are compact they have have newly upholstered linen double beds and ample built-in wardrobes/shelving, so there is plenty of storage space. The floorboards have also been reclaimed from the famous SS Great Britain Ship!
We have updated our cleaning procedures to ensure our guests' safety during the Covid-19 outbreak. Our housekeepers have PPE, keep all windows open while they are there and take extra care to ensure all frequently touched areas, such as doorknobs and light switches, are sanitised. Also, where possible, we keep 24 hour gaps between bookings to further minimise any risk.

Guest access
The flat is incredibly secure, as it is accessed by coded keypads at street and hallway level and there is a video intercom. You reach the flat either by elevator or characterful spiral staircase with mosaic walls and stained glass.

Unfortunately there is no parking available at the apartment but you can park for £20 per 24 hours in the Mercure Grand Hotel opposite. Alternatively you can catch the Bristol Flyer from the airport to Temple Meads for £7. It is just a 15 minute walk from the apartment to Temple Meads train station or the bus station!

Other things to note
Anyone travelling with children please be careful around the mezzanine platform and windows!
There is no TV but there is great Wi-Fi signal if you would like to use a laptop to watch something in the evening and a beautiful bow window to keep you occupied by people watching!
**As we are in the heart of Bristol in a Grade II listed building we have sash windows so things can get a little noisy at night however we hope you'll be out there enjoying the city along with the locals! There is a bar below and a nightclub next door that can sometimes get a bit noisy so please be aware of this before you book. We provide earplugs for all guests and hope this minimises the noise.

Location

Old City, Bristol, England

Corn Street is possibly the most beautiful and interesting street in Bristol, in a well-preserved area reminiscent of the city’s grand and affluent history. Most of the city’s main attractions (theatres, concert halls, museums, shops, cinemas and galleries) are right on your doorstep. Right behind the flat are the fascinating St Nicholas Markets, set in a Georgian arcade and trading since 1743. It was named BRITAIN’S BEST LARGE INDOOR MARKET, 2016. The adjacent street food arcade boasts stalls and small restaurants serving delicacies from around the world at great prices.

In addition, on Wednesdays and Fridays, the farmers’ and street food market stretches right up Corn St and beyond. On Fridays and Saturdays there is a vintage/antiques market, with the street closed to traffic. Cabot Circus and Broadmead shopping malls, with all the big names and bars, restaurants, cinema, are five minutes’ walk away. The immediate vicinity of the flat is stacked full of award-winning restaurants, historic pubs and cool bars. You will be spoilt for choice and the only problem will be deciding which to choose! If you are feeling really lazy, there is a famous Italian restaurant in the ground floor of our building. It is also fun to hop on a boat at the Watershed, close by, to see the Brunel’s marine masterpiece, SS Great Britain, together with Bristol’s historic docks from the water. The Watershed itself (5 minutes away) is a cultural flashpoint, housing the Arnolfini contemporary art gallery, an arts cinema, the Bristol aquarium and @Bristol, a fabulous science and technology museum.

During your stay
Hi, we are Helen and Roland. Welcome to our home! We lived in rural Somerset and bought this flat 5 years ago as we wanted a pied a terre in Bristol. We fell in love with its unbeatable City Centre location, its fabulous historic building and flexible accommodation. While we are away we have asked Air360 to help us manage our Airbnb.

We both have a background in music and theatre and are passionate foodies, so Bristol ticks all the boxes when we are in need of a city hit. We escape here for romantic city breaks or bring friends as the flat has 2 doubles and a further mezzanine double sleeping platform so it is perfect for 4 but will fit 6, if you don’t mind the squeeze! Everyone who stays here falls in love with it, so we are eager to share it when it is not being used by the family. It is really well equipped, quirky and has hands down the best location in town. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Whilst we're away we have a little bit of help from Air360 - these guys will in contact throughout your stay so don't hesitate to get in touch!
