The space
Cozy cabin in the woods. This A-frame cabin is conveniently located within city limits, but sits in the pines for a woodsy feel. The home has an upstairs loft bedroom with a queen size bed. Downstairs there is a family room with sofa bed, a full kitchen and a full bath. The home is fully stocked with towels, linens, kitchen utensils, and a BBQ. There is a washer and dryer for your use. The house is walking distance to downtown and the hot springs pool. Across Hwy. 550 there is the River walking trail that you can take in town or just to enjoy the beautiful Uncompahgre River and mountain views. The stairs to the upstairs loft are steep. My husband Joe has lived in Ouray since 1977. I moved there in 1995 and instantly fell in love with the town. We ran a Construction company from 1997 to 2012 when my husband decided to finish his education and obtain his LPN license. I have been a real estate broker since 2007 and we have 5 great kids. We moved to Montrose in 2013 to be closer to work. Luckily Ouray is not a far drive and we still enjoy seeing all of our friends and family in the area.
