The Wood House is a true Port Angeles treasure. It was built in 1889 by Charles Wood who came to the Peninsula to seek an alternative life in the Utopian society of the Puget Sound Cooperative Colony. He founded a family and their enchanting house has been meticulously maintained and lovingly upgraded. We invite you to experience its charm and beauty overlooking the Strait of San Juan de Fuca and the majestic Olympic Mountains.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets in the house or on the premises.
The Wood House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with immediate access to the Olympic Discovery Trail and local streets.
You need a car to reach any of the sights of Olympic National Park and the Olympic Peninsula. There is also a local bus service between Port Angeles and Sequim.
