Be it your first night in Auckland or your last, our home is perfectly placed by Auckland airport for a night's rest.

The space

Our sun drenched 1930's Californian bungalow with great indoor/outdoor flow and extensive decking is a combination of comfort and space.

Your room with a Queen bed and bathroom are both off the kitchen in a separate area from the hosts main living area so consider it your own suite, but with access to the rest of the home.

The property is fully fenced. Parking onsite is available by prior arrangement.

Guest access

You have direct access to the modern and functional kitchen. You are welcome to cook light meals, please clean after yourselves.

Arrival time is flexible as there is a lockbox by the entrance and we can make arrangements to provide access to the house.

Interaction with guests

We are happy to answer any questions, help plan your stay and can be involved as much or as little as you need.

Other things to note

PLEASE NOTE: There are train tracks approximately 50m behind the house. Most trains are electric but the freight trains do pass through at night. Being so close to the airport we are in the way of flight paths and therefore encounter aircraft noise.

We use scented products in the toilet and in the bedroom, if this will be a problem, please let us know and we will happily remove these.

We need a place to sleep before flying back home to los Angeles and Isa's place is exactly just that. 5 min drive from the airport, clean and her brother Russell was very welcoming and invited us to help ourselves with their fridge, will recommend if you need a night sleep before flying out.

Our stay was just perfect. We had a very late flight into Auckland but Isa accommodated us perfectly sending us instructions to self check in. When we did arrive the room was cozy and inviting. The whole end of the house was closed off as a private space just for us, and it was everything we could have asked for. Highly recommended!

Fantastic AirBnB. The room is very private, clean, and comfortable, with great wifi. Our travel plans got screwed up by our airlines and 'Isa and her husband PJ were very flexible about our check in and check out times. PJ also helped us contact a cab company to recover a phone we lost during the crazy travel. These are good people with a nice spot. I would highly recommend them to all!

My husband PJ and I are relatively new to hosting. We both work in the aviation industry but we don't travel as often as we'd like to so instead, we'd love to share our home and our NZ with you.

PJ is a sports enthusiast and I'm a lover of all things vintage. We may enjoy different things but together we share a love of food, spending quality time with family and shopping - well, he shoe shops and I thrift. :-)
