The space

The true Artist experience of New York City with private eclectic art collection. Clean, fun, artist den, with eat-in kitchen and separate bedroom with new bed. Lot's of sunlight. Pre-war very high ceilings, traditional old downtown apartment. Newly renovated bathroom with small bath in the shower. Sunny and perfect for one person or two people having a romance. Amazing location in the heart of the trendy East Village with cafe's great restaurants, etc. Non-smoking. No pets. No children. Air condition unit in the bedroom should be left on in hot weather to cool the apartment. New fridge. Wonderful, comfortable friendly living room. Private wireless fast internet. Nice sheets and towels. full kitchen with cooking. 2 blocks from subway. IN the heart of it all. It can be noisy outside as it's on Avenue A, but it is New York City. It's an old building so it's a 2nd floor walk up without elevator.

I love my apartment. It's my home and I'm looking for clean guests who will appreciate the artistic space that I have created and truly enjoy the east village of New York City. I will answer any questions and provide my personal recommendations of great things to do , places to see and where to eat when in the best city in the world!

Let start from the good things: the flat is surely well located, I love the east village. Anyway if we have to judge the flat we have to say it has some defects: the flat really need a renovation , windows socket floor and furniture are quite old (as the entire building), and the…

Response from Elizabeth:
Hi! thanks for your feedback. As i state in all of my photo's and descriptions of my apartment...there is only one loft bed. So great for a single or for a couple. You and your brother are both big handsome guys and when I wrote you that, you said you could sleep in the same bed. That said, when you arrived you needed more space, so I went out of my way to make it more comfortable for you. I NEVER let anyone sleep in my living room, but out of the goodness of my heart I gave your brother the big blow up mattress so you could have more space. For that alone, you should've been charged more. But I wouldn't do that. Everything that other people write is because they saw and read all of my explanations of my apartment. And they love it and I have never had anyone complain about the furniture. It is an artists apartment in a great neighborhood. All of my furniture is antique from a very well known and expensive place called ABC Carpet. Not made for two separate people to sleep in. I would've told you to get a place with two bedrooms to make yourselves more comfortable because you were both here to work. I have a brand new bathroom and kitchen. This is a pre-war building and has the feel and vibe of old NYC. It is not a renovated apartment that has no soul. You guys are great, I hope you were successful in your business here, I would highly recommend you stay at a boutique hotel next time you come to New York. That might be more suited to your needs. Ciao! xo
