43m2 apt renovated 2013 (New kitchenBathroom&Floors). Bedroom w/Queen bed, Liv room w/big sofa Kitchen & bar.AA oven, Fridge w/freezer coffee maker Tableware 4p. 3rd fl lift. All exp inc. (+cableTV,phone, wifi). Nice balcony, new sunshade. All windows w/blinds, new waterheater jul14

The space

This a cute apartment which is brand new (fully renovated) within a 70s building, which makes it fascinating and surprising to find. Remember new apts do not offer separated (URL HIDDEN) this one offers rooms, hallways, a complete kitchen, balcony, fully equipped bathroom, etc.
I adore the light it has, and the fresh air running across the apt (many windows!), while still being able to blackout it with shades (new apts only have blackout curtains).
The block is awsome: having a kiosk on your right, and a hairdresser on your left, and having a classic "pizza & empanadas" take away just across the street!

Guest access

- High speed wi-fi internet is available across the apt.
- We have a "Dolce Gosto" Nestle coffee maker to drink your morning coffee!
- Local phone calls are free; one phone in the Living Room and one in the room
- We can offer cleaning services upon request

Interaction with guests

We offer a phone number where you can reach us during your stay and if you have any questions or comments. We are online via e-mail or (website hidden) at all times as well. We have installed a new electric water heater in July 2014!

Other things to note

The sun reaches the apt (that has a balcony) after midday!

My boyfriend checked in to the apartment first and I arrived later, but all went well, check in was easy and as scheduled. I stayed for approximately 1 month in this apartment and it was great. The building itself was quiet. Sigi and her mom were both easily accessible and responded to messages very quickly whenever needed to answer questions. The building manager was also incredibly friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The apartment had everything we needed, including sheets / towels, a comfortable bed, enough space for two people, television and cable and the wifi worked well. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped with most things you would need for a short stay (Pots / pans / plates / utensils - stove top and oven). Most people on a short stay eat out a lot, but it was certainly equipped well enough to cook meals on your own if you wanted. The apartment is clean and well taken care of. Accessible by buses 59 & 64 almost to your doorstep. A range of other buses available within two streets. About a 45 - 60 minute walk to Plaza Italia in Palermo. Approximately $100 - $120 Pesos taxi ride to San Telmo or a 1 hour bus ride depending on the time of day. The area itself was calm, quiet and safe. I spent a lot of time working on my computer from cafes in the area and walking around by myself with no issues. Although, all of the buildings are secure, many have security guards or doormen and often stores are locked in the evening, only allowing entrance to those who they approve. It appeared to be for a precaution and I never saw any difficulties. There are several small grocery stores within two minutes walk. Lots of nice cafes ... give Tienda de Cafe a try on Frederico Lacrose (Tibia de lomo ensalada. YUM!) or Pit Deli on Soldado de la Independencia. Both were lovely spots to eat and / or work for a few hours. Oh yes, and Mamie bakery also on Soldado de la Independencia for yummy pastries. Don't expect anything for night life in the immediate vicinity, but the heart of Palermo is easily accessible by bus or a $50 - $60 peso taxi. Palermo Hollywood lights up the night with lots of trendy restaurants and cafes Thursday through Saturday. Most things are closed down on Sunday, so make sure you do any errands on weekdays. Lots of green space and parks near by and a Freddo Ice Cream Cafe within two blocks. Overall, the apartment and location were great for a laid back, quiet stay. If you are looking to be in the heart of the nightlife, this isn't the best choice, but if you like privacy and a quiet more residential area, you'll be very happy here. I had a lovely stay.

This apartment is ideal for the smart traveler that wants to stay on a trendy location and at walking distance to the main touristic attractions, bars of Las Cañitas and Palermo with a fast access to the rest of town by using the public transport network. It has an excellent location. It is very spacious, cozy and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, toaster, etc. The doorman is very friendly and was available for what I needed. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner, is a very kind person. Finally I want to emphasize that I rented the apartment for a year and of course, I recommend it. It's an excellent choice to have an amazing stay in Buenos Aires.

Very good location, one block from bus stops, well equipped, comfortable bed, quiet complex, but..there is a but...the toilet broke, we could not flash it and it took the owner two days to fix it, first inconvenience, then a plumber came, fixed it and left us with NO hot water! It took the owner another two days to fix that problem, big inconvenience when you are on a vacation and expect everything to work. After the hot water problem was fixed, the water was not hot enough, we ended up taking cold showers (Brrrr). The place has a constant smell of gas from a leak somewhere. The day I got there, the owner requested a $300 (pesos) deposit to cover "damages" and cleaning fees. Well, there were NO damages, we took very good care of the place, I was expecting some money to be returned upon leaving since 300 pesos is way too much money to cover cleaning fees! No money returned. I doubt I will rent back.

Response from Sigi:
Received our guest with 24/7 contact, basic breakfast supplies and allowed to late checkout (+5hs vs. agreement). We were always on top of all inconveniences brought up, and fixing within the day (even on a Sunday). Water heater has been repaired and a new electrical one (no gas!) is being installed next week. Regarding the deposit, we were clear that it was to be used to restore the apt to exact same conditions as handed (cleaninig and laundry), It is the equivalent to 28 usd, and it was fully used. She mentioned she may hire someone to clean herself, to avoid paying, but didnt in the end, so we proceeded as agreed. Please refer to references if in any doubt.
