Our home is one block from Laurelhurst Park and an easy walk to 28th Street, Belmont and Hawthorne restaurants and shops.
It's located in the heart of the Central Eastside in a lovely residential neighborhood next to a bustling restaurant district.
The home is a super comfortable setting with two large sofas, a fireplace, a cozy backyard and a well appointed kitchen.
The house is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids) and groups up to six.
This is a new listing so pardon the lack of reviews. We have rented the house furnished for longer terms but want to try the AirBnB model. This is a tidy home with everything you need for pleasant stay of a few days, weeks or months. We live in the area and can provide as much or as little interaction as you desire.
The entire house and yard is open to your visit. There's a detached garage that's not included (or all that interesting). There's one off street parking spot in the driveway. The driveway is a bit steep.
Access to the house is most convenient from the driveway and into the back or side doors.
Interaction with guests
There's a lot of information about the house, Portland and the surrounding area on site. We're available to answer any questions or make recommendations.
Other things to note
The house is at an intersection on East Burnside, a three-lane road that leads to the river and downtown. The house is insulated and has triple pane windows so traffic sound is minimal but this is not a super quiet residential block.
The two double beds listed are futons. They will be prepped as beds or sofas depending on your needs.
