Paul was a very friendly and committed host. Before we arrive he already gave us a lot of hiking tips. The room and the house were great and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay!

The night at Paul's was nice. We felt at ease. The only things I would mention are: we thought the mattress was too soft and every time one of us moved, the other bounced a little. Paul is very thoughtful and kindly offers a small break area with microware, fridge, tea, coffee... But it is on the landing so if the other guests wake up before you, your night ends then. Despite his recommandation of keeping voices low. But to tell the truth, I don't know whereelse he could place it. Notice the bathroom is shared. Which wasn't an issue for us. Except, in our French minds, bathroom and toilets are separate. So even though we showered at night without any problem, my morning bladder had to be pretty patient since showers can talke some time. I would still recommend the place.

I think it's a fair comment that the shared bathroom can be an issue. Thanks for that suggestion. We have another bathroom on the main floor that we will now make available to guests. Thanks and cheers

I'm a recently retired social worker who worked in Child Welfare for 35 years. I'm originally from England but grew up in Eastern Canada, and then have spent the last 37 years in British Columbia. I love travelling and meeting new people. I love the outdoors and that's why I moved to Pemberton eventually.
