The Hummingbird Lodge was excellent. The location is excellent, quietly tucked away in the mountains with a view of the ocean. The Lodge is quiet and very secluded and at the same time literally minutes by car from Mount Irving Beach. (We drove to Pigeon Point in about 25 minutes). The actual lodge itself (to include the kitchen) was clean, well kept and air conditioned and the pool was amazing. All in all if you want a laid back vacation, close to nature and you're not into the resort scene the Hummingbird Lodge is an excellent choice. It will definitely be at the top of my list the next time we visit the island.

We had a great time at Roger's guest house!! The pool is fabulous!!! My first time in a saltwater pool!! Will definitely stay here again. We did not meet Roger, but we met his mother and Wayne the caretaker. Very lovely people.

My friend and I came to Tobago for a last minute girl's trip and found the Hummingbird Lodge. We stayed in the studio which is basic but adequate. It contains a small fridge, two burner hot plate, microwave, small kettle, toaster, cable tv and air conditioner. The room could use a few updates like a better bathroom door, a few more utensils in the kitchen and maybe a fresh coat of paint but other than that the place is gorgeous and makes you feel like you're truly in the tropics. The saltwater pool is also lovely and nice to take a swim at night as the water stays warm. Roger is a great communicator and Wayne the caretaker is helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this place if you want a secluded cozy tropical vacation. One other tip, you should rent a car as the nicest beaches are about a 15 minute drive from here.

This house was a beautifulllll place. Sadly we were only able to stay one night but, it was comfortable and a great value for your money. The view is amazing and not to mention everything is there for your ultimate enjoyment. The pool was great, being it was salt water and not chlorine was a huge (URL HIDDEN) was hard to get my 2 year old out of it. :) There was tons of seating areas outside where you can eat and relax. We will definitely be coming again on our next trip to Tobago :)

First and for most, Roger was an awesome communicator! The place is quite scenic and peaceful, Our room had everything we needed. If you have the pleasure to meet Roger's parents Anwor and Roni than consider yourself lucky, spending time with them was one of the highlights of our trip. You will probably need a car to stay there or a reliable driver as there are not any walkable bars and the road is a bit dangerous. There is a cafeteria near by that is walkable though.
