We are a stunningly beautiful canal side pub converted from an old flour mill, situated on the embankment of the Caldon Canal in Denford, Leek.

The Hollybush Inn is a traditional, friendly pub in an idyllic and relaxing Staffordshire Moorlands setting. We don’t just offer a great reputation ales and fantastic food, but a large canal side beer garden and an outdoor play area that children will love. We pride ourselves on our delicious homemade food and family orientated and a dog friendly pub.

The space
We are a very old building and as such there will some moans and groans from the pipework, yes we have hot water and yes we have heating, you also get some little perks, your fridge will contain water, milk, orange juice along with apple juice, oh and a bottle of wine. Enjoy and we look forward to welcoming you.

Furbabies are most welcome, in the basket are 2 doggie blankets, along with 3 hoomum and hoodad blankets if you get chilly.

Neighbourhood highlights

We have some amazing neighbours, there are 6 cottages next us, along with cows, herons, Mr and Mrs duck (very tame they eat from your hand) robins, 2 very tame crows, to name a few, being on 2 x canals we're so lucky with our wildlife, night time is so peaceful with just the sound of the owls, oh and not to mention the fantastic canal walks and we're right next door to Deep Hayes country park.

Leek is 10 mins away by car, and is a lovely market town and I'm proud to have called it my home for 35 years, plenty of eateries and commnity pubs
