Villa Meli is a great place to relax with family and friends and experience the best of Greek island life. The 'hideaway' bedroom and private Treetop Balcony upstairs makes it great for couples too
Villa Meli sits high on the northern end of Paxos with spectacular 180 degree views across olive groves and the Ionian Sea towards Corfu and the mountains of the Greek mainland.
Traditionally-built from local honey-coloured stone, Villa Meli offers comfortable, modern accommodation that’s great for extended families with older children or groups of adults holidaying together. Step-free access from the main entrance leads directly into the ground floor living room, with dining area, sofas and fully-fitted kitchen. Two air-conditioned bedrooms on the ground floor each have direct access to separate outdoor terraces and share a bathroom with toilet and large walk-in shower. A lockable door leads upstairs to a loft-style double bedroom ‘hideaway’ with en-suite shower and large private treetop balcony with spectacular sunrise and sunset views.
Outside is a choice of comfortable and well-equipped areas for outdoor living. Eat a leisurely breakfast on the Olive Terrace, relax in a lounger on the Sun Terrace, take a post-lunch nap in a shady hammock in the garden, fire up the BBQ and pizza oven in the traditional outdoor kitchen, and toast the sunset from the Treetop Balcony.
Villa Meli shares a swimming pool and sun terrace with the five apartments next door. The location is rural but not isolated, it is generally quiet and laid back but the villa is situated within a hamlet and there are neighbouring houses.
A 15-minute downhill walk through olive groves or forest track will take you to Lakkos, a beautiful tree-fringed natural white-stone beach. Orkos and Manadendri beaches are also accessible on foot, and Manadendri (which offers tavernas, sun loungers and a swimming pool) is about 5 minutes by car. The nearest bakery and shops are in Lakka, also about a 5-minute drive, where there’s a choice of bars and tavernas.
We draw your attention to our policy of not accepting under 5s due to safety concerns ( several low walls with long drops). We recommend 8+ with good supervision.

- Because of steep stairs and balconies, the Villa isn't suitable for younger children (Under 5's). We recommend 8+ and ask you to make sure children don't climb on exposed roofs and walls with steep drops
