Finding Sarah's home was very easy. On arrival into the house, Sarah had the kettle on and a welcome coffee hit the spot after our journey. Sarah's home was beautiful and the bedroom and ensuite bathroom were really cosy and particularly comfortable. The room was annexed from the rest of the house and allowed privacy. Breakfast was excellent. Sarah had provided a wide selection of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit and bread for toast with a further selection of preserves, honey, spreads etc. All were accompanied by a selection of teas, coffees, and fruit juices. In all an excellent Air B&B experience. Thank you Sarah for looking after us and making us so at home.

My mum stayed at Sarah's and said she was so lovely and welcoming, and praised the house and cleanliness endlessly!

Sarah was incredibly hospitable and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us make sure our stay was the best it could be. Truly a lovely person and a great place to stay.

Lovely place to stay, and lovely hosts. Unfortunately our stay was too short but would really recommend to stay here. Best breakfast ever!

Lovely spot. Well located in Manningtree with everything you could need within a couple of minutes' walk. Very homely set up and Sarah and her husband very friendly and helpful - the offer of a lift from the station was very kind although it is easy walking distance. Great breakfast spread and very comfy bed. Mind your head on the old beams if you're too much over six foot though!

Really lovely room and ensuite bathroom. Parking not a problem, found a space around the corner. Excellent breakfasts! And lovely hosts - cake was delicious. Handy Tesco Express down the road and easy access to the estuary and surrounding countryside. Ideal for visits to Constable country and Beth Chatto's dry garden, and just enjoying Essex. We will be back!

We had a party at The Red Lion pub so couldnt believe our luck that there was somewhere opposite that we could stay. Parking is a bit restricted, however we were lucky enough to get a space virtually outside. Room was lovely and just as described and we were able to take our dog which was great. Fab breakfast the following morning - would stay again and recommend - thank you!
