An ideal place for reconnecting with nature, a favorite person, and simple joys. Experience an unforgettable stay in our handmade open-air sleeping cabin, tucked into a forested grove on Vermont's Tanglebloom Flower Farm. Comfortably immersed in nature, it's camping, elevated.

The space
The sleeping cabin is cozy and minimalist (10'x10') with screened 'walls' that let in the breeze -- and keep out the bugs. Relax on the covered porch with a morning coffee, sunset wine, and a good book in between. A cozy full-size bed with seasonal linens awaits you. Ideal for couples and solo retreats.

Enjoy the outdoor kitchen with small fridge, running hot water (May-Sept.), and propane single-burner cooktop. You can also grill over the fire pit, bring no-cook picnic fare, or enjoy one of our unique local eateries a 5-10 minute drive away.

Outdoor hot shower available May - Sept. (no running water after frost, usually early Oct.)

Clean, easy-to-use modern composting outhouse.

WI-FI does not reach the cabin but can be accessed closer to the main house and occasionally from the outdoor kitchen. Cell service can be spotty (AT&T is best).

NOTE: This an off-grid camp-like experience without electricity or heat. Vermont is breathtakingly beautiful and also a rural working landscape which means you may see or hear activities related to agriculture and forestry. You'll need to pack and dress for the weather & bring a sense of adventure! :) We’ll provide our packing guide to make preparations simple.

Guests should be comfortable with an older friendly dog on premises who will likely bark upon arrival.

✧ Wildlife
Be bear aware: Guests should remove all food, coolers, cooking supplies, trash, and scented non-food items (ie. toiletries) from the cabin area while out for the day and before going to bed. Store these items properly inside the outdoor kitchen or your vehicle - never inside the cabin. Thanks for helping us keep wildlife safe and your visit enjoyable.

✧ Availability
Available seasonally May - October. If you do not see dates available then we're fully booked at the moment. Visit vermontcabin DOT net to join the wait list!

Welcome! We love sharing our little woodland oasis with fellow travelers. Hand built by my husband Mike as a respite for body, mind, and soul; the open-air cabin is tucked away on a forested corner of our flower farm. I manage our small flower farm and floral design studio, Tanglebloom. When I'm not getting dirty in the garden I enjoy hiking, river swimming, visiting cabins around New England, and adventuring near and far with my little family. We hope to see you wandering this way soon!
