The space

This huge Sunriver home holds 14, and includes a sauna, tons of space, and SHARC passes, giving you access to a shared pool, hot tub, and more.

With 12 passes to the Sunriver Homeowners Association Recreation Center, you'll be able to visit the aquatic park where the kids can splash all day. Meanwhile, adults may like taking a day trip to Bend for brews and shopping. A family hike around Mt. Bachelor any time of year will create memories.

When you've been out all day long, the living room will provide a relaxing place to watch movies, play games, and warm up by the fireplace. This room is so spacious that it even holds a pool table. The fully equipped kitchen provides the tools you need to prepare delicious meals. In warmer weather, cook out on the BBQ grill while the kids play horseshoes.

All the activity will make you grateful for a good night's rest in one of the six bedrooms. Five of them have queen beds, while the sixth has four twin beds - a perfect room for siblings and cousins. All rooms have their own TV. This huge house also has five bathrooms, so a full house of 14 will be quite comfortable.

This is a HUGE home that it situated in such a cool way. The kids room was over the garage which is great, the usual accommodations were nice and we had plenty of towels and the like for our group. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the home was just not up to par. Initially upon arrival everything looked nice and clean, fresh towels and linens and such. It was warm and smelled clean. Went I went to use one of the bathrooms I saw it -- there in the corner of this supposedly just cleaned home, mouse droppings. Now most would think, okay, big old house, obviously in the woods, not a shocker to find a few mouse droppings here and there. Sure, if you were in a cabin that hadn't been opened in months -- not a large, commonly rented home that was just cleaned. As the weekend went on, we found more and more droppings -- in other bathrooms, in kitchen cabinets, kitchen drawers, bathroom cabinets and worst of all BEDS. Not just on the top, which is where we first saw them, but under the covers and on the PILLOWS. Not only is this just gross, it is highly unsanitary and can lead to sickness. So basically we had to at least change all the pillow covers, decide whether or not to change the supposedly freshly washed bed sheets, wash all the dishes and silverware before we used anything and keep our toiletries on the counter instead of utilizing the drawers and cabinets for a more comfortable stay. And I can confirm that this was not old droppings missed by the cleaners -- because we SAW the mouse scurrying behind the couches and tables against the wall in the living room! The carpet is indoor/outdoor carpet -- no biggie, besides that it was stained and ripped in a few spots that could be easily fixed. One of the couches is falling apart, the rest are super squishy but fine. Lastly, it snowed about an inch the first night and when that melted the next day, there were three or four dripping leaks in the ceiling. I did call and let Vacasa know about these leaks and we opted to not have someone come out (since they said they wouldn't be able to get someone until Monday anyway) and we figured the drips would stop once the snow melted. They did stop, but it makes you wonder -- this is a snow climate, I'd hate the be there during the spring. The furnaces were great - when they were all working. At least one furnace (there are three) would trip a breaker at a time so we were constantly turning off the main power and turning it back on. Not terrible, just annoying. I'm not trying to nit-pick, honestly - I just want you to know what you are getting as the pictures make it seems much nicer. Now, barring all that, we had a fantastic stay. The house...
