We stayed at Dakota's cabin for 4 nights during Labor Day weekend. The cabin is very cute and clean! It has everything you would need. I also loved the scenery and walking down to the river daily. It was nice to get away and disconnect for a few days.

Beautiful scenic place to stay. The place was perfect for 2 people but even more can stay. Shopping area is only 5 mins drive away so overall a great location.

Imagine a cabin that's flanked by cornfields and a stream on one side, and skies so clear at night you can see countless stars making for a perfect getaway. We were in the cabin only for a short night, but definitely enjoyed our experience there. The sleeping arrangement was a tad bit weird though, given that the bunk beds are of slightly different sizes (twin vs. sort of a double), but they aren't uncomfortable by any means. Highly recommended!

This is a nice cabin near the river. We definitely enjoyed our stay here. The cabin is roughly 360 square feet with a main area that includes the living space , dining space, kitchen and bathroom. In the back is the bunk room. The bunk room has four beds total, one double and three twins. The main living area also has a futon. Overall, the cabin was pretty clean and well presented. The dish satellite TV was a nice bonus. There are two air conditioning units, one in the front of the cabin and the other in the bunk room. There is a ceiling fan in the main room , and a transfer fan in the wall between the main room and the bunk room. The cabin sits on a piece of land about 400 feet from the road and fairly close the the river. A corn field separates the cabin from the road. The road is not heavily traveled at all. The location is very peaceful and quite. There is one other similar cabin nearby on the opposite side of the gravel road and two mobile homes a few hundred feet away down the "U" shaped gravel road. Access to the river is via an old boat launch that does not appear to be used very often. The downside is that you would have to slog through 15 feet or so of muddy shoreline to get to the river itself. We chose to admire the river from solid ground. Note that when we stayed here (July 30 to Aug 1,2017 the host did not provide a coffee maker. We have suggested to Dakota that one be provided. Overall, this is a nice, well kept cabin in a good location if you are looking for some peace and quiet. It's about an 1.5 hour drive to Watkins Glen to the north and a similar distance to Rickett's Glen State Park to the south.
