We had a great visit to Brooklyn and the Suite was, as promised, only a few minutes' walk from our son. The neighbours in the street were very friendly and Linda kindly provided a "goodie basket" as well as delicious coffee that we very much enjoyed. What follows is not intende…

Response from Linda:
Thanks for your review. The bed that you describe (strange framework) is a Murphy Bed. It is designed to create additional space and it folds up into the wall. It has a comfortable queen size mattress as you stated. Many historic Brooklyn Brownstones have bathrooms off the hall on the Parlor Floor in which you stayed. I have listed that now because it was a concern but the photographs show well. The extra pull out bed was left based on your request for your son to stay three days. This is a spacious studio suite as studios in NY are much smaller and often one room without a view. My three windows and window seat allow for a great deal of sunshine to shine in if you open the blinds. This space is designed to offer the guest a bit more than an expensive one room hotel in Brooklyn provides. All the best for future travel adventures.
