WELCOME TO CHESTNUT HILL GUEST HOUSE
Perched in the Boston Hills of New York overlooking a breathtaking view of Buffalo, this charming, 1850 farmhouse offers its guests a distinct experience with a touch of elegance. Choose from our four bedroom private Guest House (this listing) or our 2-bedroom "Cottage". Both houses are private rentals of the entire house.

The space
Dating back to the 1850s, Chestnut Hill has a rich history. The farm was formerly a dairy farm that was rumored to be left to a vagabond traveler who exchanged work for a place to stay. Today, we're proud to offer travelers a tranquil space to rest, relax and form new memories in the beautiful Boston Hills of Western New York.

The farm is a mix of 95-acres of woods, fields, barns and two guest houses, the main Farm House and The Cottage. The farm house contains remnants of the original house, with additions and remodeling throughout to give the house a unique mix of modern and traditional design elements. The farm house is perched atop a hill, lending itself to a breathtaking view of Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

The Cottage was once the caretaker's house from when the barns were used for horse stables. After a complete renovation with wooden detail, the cottage is the perfect place to chill in the summertime and snuggle up when the snow starts falling.

Throughout the years, the farm has been a host to creativity, food and people! Paintings from the artist, Sarah Myers (Catherine's daughter) can be found hung throughout the house and one of the barns was once a ceramic studio, as you may guess from the many clay 'artifacts' scattered throughout the house. In the summer, veggie gardens can usually be found around the farm. Agriculture, the Arts, and Hospitality are merged together to create a sanctuary for the spirit, soul and body.

During your stay

Private house. Bekah and/or Sarah are usually working on the farm and available to show you around or tend to any needs. There is a side entrance near the main entry to the laundry room and office, which may occasionally be accessed by Bekah, but is closed off to the rest of the house. Use of the laundry room is, however, available.
