Nice quiet clean place away from noisy Tena. Great coffee for breakfast. Friendly staff. The shared bathroom is with 4 other rooms, so can be busy in high season. Ask Jens if he has replaced the vitrage for curtains as the guests in the garden can see clearly all with the lights on. I got a different room. The hostel Teha Naui has better rooms, so maybe book via other sites If you didn’t plan excursions yet, don’t expect brochures in the hostel. Jens might have a few, ask upfront, The hostel Manager self suggested me to go to an random agency n Tena, as their english wasn’t very good. Those offices close at 17:00. While I was there, there were real heavy rainstorms every night. Keep an eye on the clouds

Jens was a great host. He set up a last minute jungle and rafting excursion that we really enjoyed. The Jungle trip was very affordable and a true jungle experience, and we highly recommend it if you are looking for a jungle tour. Our only issue was with finding the location. Be sure to ask for the address well in advance so as to avoid our situation (Because we did not receive a response with an address, we had to ask locals in town for directions to "Jens' place").

We stayed for just one night, and everything went smoothly with finding the place with taxi that only cost 1,5$. We got a room with great view, and the lounge was comfortable with hammocks for reading and hanging out. They arranged an amazing hike for is with a native guide with 1 days notice. There are two volunteers working there that speak english which was nice for my boyfreind who don't speak spanish. If you go to Tena I would really recommend it because the of view and the facilities at the place. It is easy to get to town either walking or with taxi, and there isn't really much to do in the town anyways besides eating, so less noise from the city is a big plus as well.

Nice, clean hostal with good kitchen, nice spots to hang out (hammocks, tables) and very nice view. It is about 10-15 minutes to walk to the centre (uphill) so we sometimes took a taxi 1.50-2.00 USD) , sometimes walked. Recommend staying here.

This is a great hostel! Beautiful view! A bit difficult to find at first...the second taxi driver knew where to go. Tell them it's in the sector de las antenas.

This place was great, for our short stay in Tena, the room we had was for four adults and one child, it was big enough for us, we had three beds and a private shower with warm water. They offer breakfast for $3 which is really good and we even had our laundry done. We would definitely recommend that place to other travelers. We did have to ask for a fan since it was a little hot for us. Note: This place is a hostal not a topical airbnb.

If you want to be close to town, but enjoy the peace and beauty of a quiet neighborhood, this is a great place to be. It is impeccably clean, rooms are spacious and the view from the terrace is spectacular. Jenns and staff are very welcoming and extremely helpful. We would highly recommend to other travelers.
