What a lovely little retreat to spend a couple of days relaxing. Maureen surprised us with some delicious breakfast treats in the fridge and we especially loved the outdoor bath! Stargazing while sitting in a warm tub is a must do. Maureen was very lovely, helpful, and accommodating. Thanks for a great weekend.

Maureen was so helpful in welcoming us and giving advice on the area. Fresh eggs and bread everyday and even the use of the bikes. She also left us to have our privacy once we got settled in. Good facilities and great location.

We had such a lovely stay at the Nest. Maureen was really great and had prepared a delicious assortment of food for breakfast. The location is really spectacular, very quiet - you wake up to the sound of birds and you can even pan for gold in the river! Would highly recommend.

A cosy stay just out of Hokitika on a beautiful bush property. Wished we could have stayed longer to explore Maureen's property but we had time to explore the wider area and went on Maureen's great advice and travel tips: we took a pleasant drive from the accommodation to Lake Kaniere and Hokitika Gorge. Well worth the visit! Maureen was a great host, friendly and very helpful. Thanks!

Our favourite word is REAL. We like to give our guests a real West Coast experience, real food, with real people. We love our life here in this stunning part of the world and sharing what we have created ( still a work in progress!).
