We had a wonderful time staying with Raymond and Monique. Not only did they fetch us from the train station, they also took us back the next day. They also offered us the use of their kitchen for lunch when the rain got in the way of our picnic. They were so kind and helpful and made us feel very much at home in their lovely house.
Their home is very centrally located, and we loved being able to step out their door and be in the center of town, close to restaurants and shops (and an excellent coffee shop about 20m away). We were able to choose which of their two bedrooms we wanted, and both were comfortably furnished with their own bathrooms. We chose the lavender coloured room which was bigger with twin beds, and it had a very large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the rooms warm. Breakfast was a feast of different breads, cheese, yoghurt, cereal and fruit, and Raymond and Monique even went and specially bought decaf coffee for my husband.
Neither Raymond nor Monique speak much English, and we don't speak much French, but with the help of (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) Translate we were able to communicate quite well, and had a good laugh while doing so.
I would highly recommend staying here, it is really lovely and Raymond and Monique are a wonderful and warm couple.
