The space
Set in a private flower garden, this space is available to you for the duration of your stay. There is an outside fire place, seating and bbq area.
This cosy caravan has two single beds which turn from the seating area with table, into a large double bed with bedding.
There is plenty of storage space, with shelves, wardrobe and cupboards.
There is a porta potty toilet inside the caravan and a hot electric shower in the quirky 'old privy' outside.
Clean water is from the tap next to the caravan - its basic but it all works well!
Fridge, gas cooker with grill, electric kettle, plenty of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery.
Tea towels and cleaning products provided.
There are books, board games and balls.
Just ask and if you need anything else!

Guest access
Up through the village to the very edge of the mountain, the caravan borders fields and woods to play in.
There are public footpaths to beautiful mountains and farm land on the door step, lambs in spring, bird watching, and wild berry gathering in the autumn.
There is ample parking but the access is narrow so please phone ahead for guidence if you feel unsure. Satnav will get you to Carreg-Y-Gath, make sure you follow the road round to the left, keep going until you arrive at the carpark in the field.
Most of the locals are lovely. Be open and friendly and they will respond in kind.
I will try to be here to greet you, but if not, then go through the little gate to the caravan. Make sure you arrange with me to collect the keys from the 'secret' place beforehand.

Other things to note
Please treat the space with respect.
We try and live lightly on the earth, please help us to do this by using the recycling and compost bin provided.
Turn off the lights and heating before you go out. PLEASE NOTE...we have now removed the heater from the caravan as its continued abuse meant our electricity bills were ridiculous! however, we really dont want you to be cold. It is now available upon request, for a small extra fee per night.
Use the shower room for hanging up wet weather gear.
Use the bin in the bathroom for sanitary wear.

My work: private chef and ecologist
Lives in Bangor, United Kingdom
Hi, I am a private chef and own my own outside catering company. I'm also an assistant ecologist and am currently training to help my father in his ecological consultancy firm. Lover of architecture, design, art, travel and food! I have two lovely boys, Oscar 7, and Milo 4, and we are all lovers of the great outdoors! We live in a rural part of North Wales, at the edge of a village, overlooking the sea and mountains. We are keen gardeners and have our own chickens and sometimes pigs too! I am a keen runner and practice Yoga, and the boys love... everything!! We are a respectful and considerate family who will leave a place as we have found it. We love traveling and can't wait to take the boys on adventures all over the world. Our motto is live life to the full but go gently on the earth. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Many thanks and happy travels
