The space

Our is a remodeled 1890's Greek Revival. It is located in the heart of Fennville close to the Salt of the Earth. Both bedrooms are upstairs and the master is connected to the bathroom. There is a clawfoot tub upstairs and a shower on the main level. The kitchen dining room combo offers a great space to hang out and cook. There is a separate parlor room with comfy furniture and a media room off that. Wifi is included along with cable and Apple tv for Netflix.

Guest access

In the event that I can't meet you in person there is a lockbox located inside the front porch. I will text you the code a few days prior to your arrival.

Quaint small town, great location for visiting West Michigan especially Grand Rapids and Saugatuck. We had exceptionally nice weather perfect for experiencing Fall in Michigan. The Salt of the Earth restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Overall great trip.

The leaves are turning! Peak is Oct 10-21. When visiting the Salt be sure to order the Brussel Sprouts. Glad you enjoyed your time here.

Bright and clean, just as advertised. Loved the porch swing! Towels and linens were soft, comfy couches, big DVD selection. Very short walk to Fennville restaurants and a short (15-20 minute) drive to Saugatuck and Douglas if you're looking for additional variety and waterfront views. Would love to come back and use the backyard fire pit next time it's a little bit warmer!

The Fennville House is located in downtown Fennville, a very quaint town with some great restaurants. Crane's Apple Orchard is about 2miles down the road and is definitely worth a visit (and their pie flight is amazing)! The house was clean, spacious, and cozy. The yard has a fire pit and is secluded. Quiet neighbourhood. Highly recommend!!!

Response from Mark:
We are so glad you had a pleasant stay. I agree the pie flight is wonderful and I have to mention their new wine bar has some great selections. My favorite is the cherry wine!

We loved our stay at Fennville House! We so appreciated how tastefully decorated and cozy it is. It was perfect for a small family get-away. We hung out playing board games, cooking meals together, watching football and we even enjoyed a fire in the backyard. We walked to Salt of the Earth our first night and had an outstanding dinner. Saturday morning we went to Saugatuck and took a duck boat tour; our tour guide was completely entertaining! We made memories that will last a lifetime! Thanks, Mark!

Our family of four ( kids ages 3 and 5) were very comfortable in the Fennville house. We stayed for 7 nights, 8 days, and did not run out of things to do in the area around Fennville, Saugatuck, Douglas and Holland. We loved the old house charm. We moved a few breakables out of reach of our kids for the week and put them back when we left. The only negative thing we noticed was our 3yr old is a curious, skinny climber, and he could fit his entire body through the railing at the top of the stairs to the 2nd floor. So we kept the door to the 2nd room where the kids were sleeping shut, brought a monitor, and just took him downstairs as soon as he woke up to make sure he didn't fall. But it wasn't a big deal, our 5 yr old had no problems and loves coming home to 'Mark's house' every night. Downtown Fennville has a lot to offer families, there is a library a few hundred feet from Mark's house, and a short block or two walk to downtown there is a children's museum we went to twice and got a Groupon for, several places to eat including our favorite Root! Great deal for the price
